Pros
Awesome pictures taken by your friends on Eden, Hole to hang calender by, Reference pages for 2013.
Cons
None.
Introduction
The design of the Edenfantasys Community Calender for 2012 is fairly simple, with the front and back covers, and all the pages in between being held together by a plastic spiral top. On the side opppsing the black spiral, each page has a hole that you can hang the calender with. The cover has all 12 of the images you will see inside surrounded the title of the calender, "Edenfantasys Community Calender 2012". If you look at the back cover, it is a long statement about the calender and how each photo was submitted by members of the Photography Club here on Eden. The statement makes you feel proud to be involved with such a sweet and caring community, and also makes you wonder which friend you have made on this site took which picture. Each month has two pages, an image page on the top portion and 6 weeks worth of days on the bottom. Each photo also has a "feel good" quote from different people, some famous and some I did not know of.
January
January's photo is a sunset in a side view mirror of a car. You can also see in the background, around the mirror, the blue sky, green grass, and highway road.
February
This months image's focal point is an offset diamond ring, with a silver band. It is sitting on top of a group of flowers on a red brown and white surface, which appears to be rock. The flowers I believe are poesy's, and are different shades of orange and yellow, with a solitary pink poesy next to the ring.
March
The months photo is of the bright lights of a big city at night, and the lights reflecting on a body of water. The photo was taken from behind some rocks with broken off wood sticking up out of the water. You can see a brightly lit bridge over the water and the bright lights of tall buildings. The lights reflecting on the water is my favorite part of this image. There is reds, blues, and shades of purple and yellow.
April
April's image is quite springy. A bee of some sort landing on a burgundy flower. You can see the stems and buds of many other flowers of the same kind as well.
May
A strong woman dressed in older fashions with a practice sword. She reminds me of Xena the warrior princess. You can only see the side of her face, but you can see she is the strong type from that alone.
June
A gold print on a purple skirt much above the knees and long legs covered midway to the knee by black leather boots.Wood chips and brown dirt with splotches of green grass.
July
A big picture of the plant that makes everyone's allergies go crazy, a dandelion globe. I wonder if the girl who took this made a wish, and I wonder if it came true.
August
A cute brown pooch with a few white spots in the outdoors. It has a collar attached to a leash, but you cannot see where the leash goes. The pooch is not looking at you, but instead is staring off into space.
September
This photo is of a man, from just below his eyes down to his torso. He is holding up a star fish for the camera, a slight smile on his face.
October
An awesome photo for the Halloween season. A skull with a few pieces of blue mummy tape around it on a blue tray. Also on this tray are 4 labeled bottles, including "Cyanide" and "Contaigen". There also appears to be some blood like fluids on the front of this tray.
November
A field where the green grass has turned into wheat colored long grass. A brunette with short hair wearing a long white summer dress and brown boots is jumping into the air, smiling a big happy smile.
December
A woman in a purple strapless dress sits at the base of a very small waterfall. Her arm is draped over the crest of the waterfall, stroking the water with her fingers. She is not looking at the camera, but instead at the water beside her. This woman has on bold gold jewelry and has dark eye makeup on. She has a tattoo of 6 black spots creating a half moon sign on the right side of her right eye. She looks bored.
Extra Pages?
There is an extra top and bottom here, and it is 2013's calender without photos and with the months being very small. 6 months to each half. While this calender won't be much good as your 2013 calender, it is nice to have as a reference for what days fall where for next year.

Experience
I was pleasantly pleased with my first Edenfantasys calender. I think it is freaking awesome that Eden put together a calender using community member photos. I think it is awesome that Eden has a Photography club at all, but even more so that they actually put together a calender to show off the Club Members photography.
I think all of the photos inside are lovely, but I do have two personal favorites. January's photo is number one, it makes me feel almost nostalgic. We have all had those long car rides where we look in the rear view or side view mirror and think "Goodness, that is beautiful", one Edenite managed to captured it.
The second of my favorites is the woman and her sword. She is on this bridge, alone, with her sword. She is a woman, and she is alone, but she is powerful. She has her sword and she is ready to spar. Even her stance screams, "Come at me!". I just feel like it is an empowering photo that captures the power and fierceness of women.

Follow-up commentary
6 months after original review
This is still my calendar of choice. It has been on my refrigerator since the day I got it and it has been very functional for me. I store all the work hours for each job on it so I am never late.
I've also found this calendar to be an easy introduction into the Eden conversation with friends. Since it is on the fridge in my kitchen, friends tend to ask where I got the calendar and then I can tell them about Edenfantasys.com and all the cool perks of the site!
