She's Definitely on Top
The novel has a variety of stories and situations, and is arranged such that you don't get stories that are very similar repeated one after another. Although some of the stories are more intense than others, none of them really push the boundaries of hardcore extreme play. The novel is good for beginners to FemDom and experienced FemDom participants.

Pros
A variety of stories and fetishes, doesn't get dull or mundane with repetition
Cons
Some of the stories may squick/upset readers
She's on Top is a collection of erotic stories, published by Rachel Kramer Bussel, featuring male submission and female domination. The book, which is 194 pages long, with 18 stories, has the normal anthology/collection features, like mini-bios on all the authors (so you know just who it is that's tickling your fancy) and a foreword from the editor. It is well bound, and hasn't shown much wear or tear after being tossed in a box and hauled around the state. has a variety of scenarios to delight many inner fantasies; from a secretary showing her employer who's really boss in "Suit and Tie", to a husband and wife enjoying a work-time webchat in "In Working Late", to a story featuring a professional dominatrix ("Mistress Meets her Match").
That being said, there may be some stories that aren't going to delight newcomers to FemDom or that may squick even seasoned veterans. For example, the hemophobes among us will want to skip "Mark of Ownership", which features cutting, and those disinterested by threesomes will want to skip "The Queening Chair." Some of the stories also involve infidelity, or very niche activities (Queening, for example, or Feeder fetishes) but I was neither jarred nor turned off by any of them to the extent that I wanted to skip the story.
As this is a book focused on male/female relationships, there is not a great deal of same sex relationships, but there were two or three stories featuring three-or-moresomes, as well as one story featuring a same-sex encounter (orchestrated by the FemDom). For the gender-bending enthusiasts among us, skip to "Why Can't I Be You?", where you can read about the gender-bending of a woman who dresses up like her beau, including the cock. Unsurprisingly, "Why Can't I Be You?" was my favorite, and the story I disliked most was probably "By a Firm Hand" (featuring a feminized husband; feminization just isn't for me).

While your review wasn't long, it totally said the right things to make me know this is not for me. Thanks!

I found this review hard to write; I didn't want to give away too much of the stories and I didn't really find it THAT outstanding where I wanted to gush over it. Thanks for reading, Lauren
