Sexy Childhood Memories
Dita Stripteese is a gorgeous set of three separate flip books that show some of Dita Von Tease's best work. Each little book shows a little routine, and it's fun to go back to childhood by flipping through the books.

Pros
Gorgeous presentation, six different "routines", collector's item, fun to show off
Cons
Afraid of warping the paper, a bit expensive
Dita Stripteese is an interesting "book" published by Harper Collins. It's not really a book at all. In fact, it's basically just a hardcover covering that houses three "tiny" books on the inside. The entire "book" focuses on some of Dita Von Teese's famous striptease routines, and what it has done is make it easily available to you through small little flip-through picture books. (I haven't played with these types of little "moving pictures" since I've been very, very young.) This set houses three of these little moving picture books.
The packaging for this "book" is gorgeous. Beyond gorgeous really. They really went out of their way to make this look great. The outside cover shows the name of the set (which is in velvet) and feels really soft. To open it up, you just untie the little bow on the side. Inside, the three little books are set inside a molded form which is made from velvet as well. Each of the little books follows a "theme", and there are small fingerholes on the side of each of the tiny books which make them easy to get out of the mold.
Each little book is really gorgeous. Each page of the books (each one is about an inch thick - I have no idea how many pages in each one) is made from thin, high-quality photo paper that makes it easy to grasp the edge of the book and flip-through the pages. The outside of the book is gorgeous and metallic and also includes "Dita Stripteese" on the spine of the tiny book, so if you wanted, you could choose to display these little books without the large one. All of the photographs were shot by Sheryl Nields.
Each little book contains two routines - that makes six routines you can flip through in total. One routine can be viewed by flipping the book to the right, and one can be viewed by flipping the book through the left. From what the boyfriend and I can tell, depending on your dominant hand, you're going to be more fluent at flipping one way than the other, so one of the two routines won't be as nice and smooth as flipping through the other included in each book.
The boyfriend and I did have a bit of a problem flipping through the books. Granted, we haven't done that in years, but because of the small size and how thick the book is, it can be difficult to "nicely" flip through the book without skipping some of the pages and getting a bit "off" in the action. It doesn't "play" nearly as smoothly as a movie does, but from what pictures are provided, it's easy to get a good idea of what's going on in the book. Because of how flip books are supposed to be viewed, I am a bit concerned that the books are going to start to curve a bit more than I'd like them to. It hasn't been a problem so far though. Each book only takes about five seconds to fully flip through a "routine", so it isn't a lot of content, but it's still gorgeous and well-presented - especially to those who are found of Dita Von Tease's work.
The routines included seem to be "Bird of Paradise", "Classic", and "Martini Glass". "Bird of Paradise" shows both Dita playing around with large feathers as well as spinning around in a huge birdcage. "Classic" shows both her prancing around in a skirt and corset as well as her slowly removing the corset and sexily taking off a stocking. (This one is really hot.) "Martini Glass" shows both her playing in a gorgeous gemmed dress as well as her famous act playing in a large martini glass while pouring water on herself.
All three flip books are really amazingly done and have made me want to seek out more about Dita Von Tease. The book is a bit overpriced for most people who just want to see a sexy striptease (especially when we have movies), but for those who really want to own an item that makes people go "That's amazing!' this is the product to do it. The larger "book" cover keeps all of the smaller books safe and makes it easy to keep it on a bookshelf and keep it away from harm. I know I'm really excited to show this off to some of my other sexually-open friends, and I definitely consider it a gorgeous collector's item.

Follow-up commentary
5 months after original review
I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've had people look through this set. Almost all of my friends love burlesque performances, and any time I say I have this, they instantly want to look at it. The binding has little creases from being flipped so many times, but all-in-all, the set is still in pretty good condition.
