Girls Who Bite is a collaboration of short stories published by Cleis Press, who is quickly becoming one of my favorite publishing companies. Their books and the editors who choose the stories for them take the time to really give the reader a variety of great stories while staying on a chosen topic with style.

I recently had the honor of hosting an interview with the editor and one of the authors of this book, Delilah Devlin. This is her first anthology and she is already hard at work on her second. You can read some of her stories in Girl Crush, Fairy Tale Lust and one of my favorites Carnal Machines.

While these stories are more directed at women, in my opinion I believe that men will enjoy them as well. They are lesbian based vampire stories of lust for more than just blood. The stories cover all aspects of two women, whether more butch or lipstick, sharing some of the hottest sex that I have read in a while. You have more touching stories as well as adding a little kink and BDSM, which is a huge turn on for me in Bound Love. It includes traditional vampires, of course but also shapeshifters as in Pet door. There is something for all fantasy lovers in this book.

The book itself is 225 pages long with each story averaging about 15 pages, give or take a couple. It is a medium sized paperback, 8" X 5" so that you can safely tuck it into a small bag to take with you. The cover is quite enticing, depicting two women vampires facing eachother, fangs bared. They are in black and white and their lips and nails are blood red, already getting you excited for what is in store inside.

No matter if you like it a little sweeter or a little heavier, everything you could expect from hot sexy female vamps is here. The stories are the perfect length to get you in the mood to take things a step farther.

While I personally loved the stories from a female perspective, my husband enjoyed the pure sexiness of the girl on girl sex scenes. We often start out an evening alone with erotic stories to entice further play and role-playing. This book is a great intro into that.
