The 2012 Eden Catalog is a fun freebie to see what other members of the Eden Fantasys community are saying about items other than on-line

Pros
fun
Cons
info a bit lacking
I'm the kind of person that ends up getting sent way to many catalogs in the mail. I get them all the time and it drives me nuts that some how I got onto some list that is selling my info. Usually when I get a catalog, I toss it out without even thinking much about it.
For a while there, every time that I would make an order via Eden Fantasys, I would end up with a 2012 Eden Catalog. I have accumulated a lot of them since they started to send them out as a freebie. But I did actually sit down and read it. It's a little paper catalog that has thirty-five pages in it. It's eight and a quarter inches tall and six inches wide. It is put together by a number of editors and has a lot of quotes from members of the Eden Fantasys website and their reviews. It has sections such as Eden Playground, Hot Features, Brandmania, and Materials Guide.
For the most part, the info about the toys is only fair. They are mostly using the quotes from Eden members as the descriptors and it doesn't go into much detail about the toys and products. Usually I would prefer to have some more info about the toy and item when I am looking at an actual catalog.
But the images are the same ones that are used on the site and I have to say that is a nice thing to see and have in hand.
Also they did a wonderful job of grouping the toys in ways that make it easy to find things that will go with a toy that you are already interested in.
The 2012 Eden Catalog is fun and some what informative, but I'm glad that it's a freebie.

I wish there was one for 2013. I would love to see what they come up with for that one.
