Bodies in Heat is an erotic and sensuous high quality DVD. Playgirl has obviously put a lot of effort into the overall look of the scenes. The actors are all beautiful with nice, sculpted bodies. It's not as explicit as your typical male-targeted porno movie.

In fact, it is really geared toward women, but can definitely be enjoyed by couples. The scenes are all mainstream, with a heterosexual couple engaging in oral sex and vaginal intercourse; however, there are very few close up shots of vaginal penetration, and in fact, there are really not many up close vaginal shots at all. Also, there are absolutely no facial cum shots. This may be refreshing for some women. Every scene ends with the guy cumming on the woman's breasts, belly, or ass. The DVD really focuses on the male anatomy and the guys in this DVD are definitely eye candy.

I thought it was very unusual that there were no opening or closing credits and none of the actors' names were listed anywhere in the DVD; the names are listed only on the DVD box. Even then, I had no way of knowing who was who in the scenes and had to Google it to find out.

Scene 1 - Fish Market: Ava Vincent is a country girl who visits the local market right at closing time, dressed to be fucked. Somehow, without any dialogue between the two, she proceeds to give Evan Stone a blowjob. He then fucks her up against the glass donut case and then on the fruit stand.

Scene 2 - Curtains: This scene has no introduction or narration, just Kris Knight and Jenaveve Jolie performing oral sex on each other, Jenaveve doing Kris cowgirl style, ending with Kris fucking Jenaveve missionary style and cumming on her stomach.

Scene 3 - Tow Truck: Destiny Summers is rescued by tow truck driver Tyler Knight when her car breaks down. He takes her back to the garage where she thanks him with a "deep, passionate kiss" that leads to some oral sex and finishes with Tyler fucking Destiny from behind and dripping a little bit of cum on her ass.

Scene 4 - The Alley: I like this scene between Jean Val Jean and Tory Lane because Tory flirts with domination in this scene. She corners Jean in an alley and is a little bit aggressive, lightly slapping Jean's face a couple of times. These two are very hot together.

Scene 5 - Haunted House: This scene between Randy Spears and Eva Angelina was highly erotic. I found it to be quite arousing. Randy Spears never looked so good! Hot! Hot! Hot!

Scene 6 - Piano: This scene is my personal favorite and in fact, I developed quite a crush on Nicole Brazzle. Although there was no dialogue at all, I found her to be quite beautiful and charming. She smiled and made a lot of eye contact with Grant Michaels throughout the scene.

Scene 7 - Magic Box: In this scene, Penny Flame is a magician who performs her sexual magic on Niko, a volunteer from the audience, after the show. These two are quite sexy together.

Scene 8 - Their Second Honeymoon: Mario Rossi and Shayla LaVeaux play a married couple on, as the title implies, their second honeymoon. This scene starts out a little slow, but manages to heat up and end with a bang!

The DVD had a couple of bonus scenes in the Special Features section of the menu. These were both worth checking out, but for very different reasons. The first scene, titled Foot Massage, had Jean Val Jean performing some erotic foot play in which he was massaging and sucking on the toes of his female counterpart. It escalated from there and was a full-length scene as hot as, if not hotter, than most of the other scenes in the DVD.

The second bonus scene was simply titled Playgirl Centerfold - Austin. Austin who?? I don't know; there was no other identification of him on the DVD or anywhere on the box cover. What I can tell you is that Austin is a hunk of man who LOOOVVVES his motorcycle. I mean, he really loves his motorcycle. The scene starts with him in a cowboy costume with a leather vest, chaps, and the largest cowboy hat I've ever seen. At the beginning of the scene, he starts a slow striptease. But, it wasn't sexy...it just seemed bizarre and funny. I mean, I was literally rolling on the floor laughing. I even called my husband into the room to see what the hell I was cracking up about. Austin continues gyrating, posing, and modeling, as he slowly undresses for the camera. At one point, he pulls out a six-shooter and strokes it across his face (I guess in an attempt to be sexy). Who gets aroused by this?? In between snippets of this hilarious striptease, he talks about himself to the camera. After Austin strips off his vest, cowboy chaps, and hat, the scene ends with him in a g-string, sort of dry humping his motorcycle. Just bizarre...but worth watching!

Other special features include a photo gallery, Playgirl TV Trailers, Playgirl TV Promo Reel, and Playgirl TV.com. These were all of limited value and not worth sitting through. It was basically an advertisement for the Playgirl channel.

There is no plot or character development in any of the scenes; however, some of the scenes have a brief introduction or some narration during the scene by the lead female. Sometimes, I found the narration a little distracting. In the first scene, the narrator has an excessively strong southern accent (a little fake, if you ask me); however, when her character speaks briefly during the scene, it's clearly not the same person. Additionally, there is music playing throughout the scene, but, at one point, the music fades into the background for dramatic effect as Evan turns to the camera and says, "I love looking into your eyes as I fuck you, fuck you, fuck you" (there is an echo here, in case you didn't hear him the first time).

All of the scenes have some sort of music. The music is pretty mild and pleasing for the most part. I found the music in Curtains sort of strange, kind of an Indian beat with drums and chanting. Curtains also has weird lighting with a lot of strange shadows. Perhaps the director was going for an artsy fartsy effect. Not so smartsy, because it was distracting as hell.

Overall, I enjoyed the movie. In fact, I will probably look for more in the series. It's a great change of pace from my husband's porn collection, especially when I am in more of a romantic or playful mood.
