Erotic novel
by Playgirl TV

Middy and Sapphire watch a porno.

Too softcore for my personal tastes. Probably best suitable for vanilla couples. Decent amount of plot and dialogue, and the actors and actresses really seemed to be in their roles. I was just less than impressed by it.
Published:
Pros
Several sex scenes, so a lot of variation

My first porn DVD! I'm so excited! So as soon as the package arrives, I hustle straight to my best friends house so we can watch the porno together! I burst in the front door to her apartment, and we quickly turn off "The Lord is my Shepherd" episode of "Little House on the Prairie" which is drolling on in the background to put in our new porno. The Lord is my Shepherd, but porno is my corrupter. We shouted out random things as each scene went on. I'll mention those in the personal comments section for your mild amusement after. For now, onward!

I'm breaking each scene down.

Introduction- You get 2 minutes of music that sounds like it should be on the credits for a show such as "Friends" while it displays scenes of the DVD and shows actors/actresses names. The entire DVD is heterosexual, which is admittedly disappointing for me.

Scene 1- To me personally, there was no plot development, they were riding bikes, it's an outdoor scene, with lots of lighting. They stop riding bikes and suddenly can't keep their hands off each other. Now, this could have been sexy, except for the absolutely horrid music playing. If you close your eyes, you might imagine yourself out on the farm. If this turns you on, it's probably because this is the kind of music they should play when you're getting ready to put a move on that pretty little sheep you've been eying for a awhile. This music is totally out of place, and it distracted me so bad that I didn't enjoy the rest of the scene. The music changes a few different times when the track ends, but is still pretty country-farm music in my opinion. The music also drowns out any sounds such as moaning or "oh god!" outbursts. All you can hear is music. There is no dialogue in this scene at all either. No "hey let's stop riding bikes and bang like bunnies!" Nope, no transition at all. Which to me made this totally awkward and unenjoyable.

There may be hope yet, I try to keep my hopes up, it's a porn DVD right? Surely there's more to this, let's keep watching, it has to get better right?

Scene 2-Oh this is looking good. Music studio scene, she's hot, he's hot. This could be good. The music is kind of a light pop with a little R&B sound to it. They have dialogue before they have sex, and it sets up the scene and the plot well. The music here in this scene is not drowning my ears. It's not ridiculously loud, and I can hear sounds from the scene. The lighting is a soft lighting and comes in at an angle on them, so over all this scene just has a mood to it that far exceeds the first scene. I'm impressed here, no lie. My only complaint is the camera changes angle with the beat of the music a couple times, and almost makes me dizzy. It also goes from color to black and white, which seems really pointless to me.

Scene 3-Secret agent lady, oooo! Alright so the music here is a little "dangerous" and "don't get caught!" at first. It's dark, because she's in a closed office. It remains that way for the rest of the scene. The plot is set up pretty well. You know what's going on without her screaming out I'm doing such and such! This one is a danger themed scene involving a gun, oh boy! I won't spoil it and tell you what happens though. In any case, the music reminds me of Twilight where they admit their love for each other. I know, I'm using a lot of references here. But I'm trying to give you an idea of the music because it's hard to describe. It's a slower paced song at first with camera angles constantly changing and scenes bleeding into each other, then it's a normal scene. It still occurs in the same place but the lighting is better, and the camera angle doesn't change so much that you get sick at your stomach. The music becomes a soft slow sensual music. You might expect to hear it at an upper class restaurant designed around a romantic theme. I know, you can't get enough of my comparisons at this point.

Scene 4-Music from The Lion King's birth scene! Oh, maybe not. There's a motorcycle. Wait, what? Okay everyone needs a diner scene. Who doesn't wanna bang their waitress? He drives up to the diner in this music, it stops when he enters and sits down. There is some conversational dialogue related to him ordering, and the waitress making small talk about the restaurant. Some srs bznz hard rock music comes on and they kick it off in fast motion. It then slows down, then speeds up again, it's like you're seeing it fast forwarded. The lighting is not mood setting here, it's just bright enough to show everything. There was a bit of chemistry here, and this scene was decently plotted out, but he sortof jumped her bones a little quick for the dialogue IMO. The music changes into a crescendo of drums that sounds tribal, and it's one of those scenes where the music drowns out any sound. So essentially the music goes between tribal and hard rock here pretty consistently. Oh but no wait, regardless oh how out of place... Oh god... THE FARM MUSIC IS BACK.

Scene 5-Dark alley, enter couple. The dialogue is her thoughts, which really doesn't explain much except what she's thinking at the time, and it sounds like she's writing a blog. The music here is a subtle and almost sad tone of music. I felt like I should be crying. Then it changes out of the dark alley. They're still in the dark alley, but it appears they're in a less dark area, so you can see what's going on better. There are still shadows which cast a bit of a mood on the scene, but the music continues a sad undertone. I guess some people would find that sexy. You can't hear the actor or actress again hardly because the music dominates the scene.

Scene 6-Interrogation room. Dialogue, and sensual rock music. Decent lighting, though the room is dark around the edges and around them. It's not as good of lighting as I would of preferred, at least at first. Later they seem to have turned a light on and suddenly.. LET THERE BE LIGHT. I can see what the actor and actress are doing.

Overall this is a sensual DVD, and I guess I'm just used to hardcore. So I wasn't able to really be sexually aroused by this at all. I would recommend it for vanilla couples, because it's sensual love making and would probably work for them. But for me, the farm music for the two scenes, and all the love making and lack of hardcore sex made me unable to keep interest. The music dominated all the scenes and that really BOTHERED me. I can't even express how much it did. I guess I just don't like music with my sex. I will say that on the plus side there was always good lighting, and often times the mood was well set by this lighting. The scenes looked real, and costuming worked well for it.

Actors

Eric Masterson / Lucious Lopez / Lexi Belle / Jayden James / Dirk Styles / Aaron Wilcox / Ally Ann / Carmen McCarthy / Toni Ribas / Chris Johnson / Riley Evans / Marco Banderas

I had a problem with Lucious Lopez. Honestly, her body shape I found unattractive, she had a massive eagle nose, and her ass fat jumped around like jello during her scene. Add to that, her scene wasn't great anyway, and I'm just disappointed. I felt like the entire scene all I saw was her cellulite flopping around.

Otherwise, I was impressed with almost everyone's performance. The bonus scenes I did not like because Van Damage looks like his penis literally has Van Damage. Like he slammed it in a van door and now it's damaged. No lie, the weird white spotting and shit scared me and Sapphire to death. We were also not impressed with the actress, she had wrinkly skin from sun damage and her silicone titties looked like they might pop out of her at any moment. The scene had no real chemistry, and the boom flew in the scene at one point, I guess that's why it's just a bonus scene.

Another bonus scene was with , who did a solo jacking off scene. He looked uninterested and unturned on the entire time. He glanced between two cameras and looked scared if anything. There was no element of sex to it IMO.. So yeh, another disappointing bonus scene.
    • Good acting / chemistry
    • Good presentation

DVD Features

Additional Solo Scenes / Slide Show / Trailers / Chapter Selections / Bonus Scenes / Behind the Scenes / Company information

The bonus scenes were a disappointment completely, and I discussed them in the Actor/Actress section. There are 2 scenes, and then there's the photo gallery/slide show thing. The rest is really just options but not relevant to special features in my opinion.

The DVD is 1 hour and 42 minutes long.
    • Attractive design
    • Not very discreet packaging
    • Special features / bonus included

Personal comments

I know everyone's dying to get to this part. I just wanted to throw in some random outbursts that Sapphire and I had during scenes, to give you an idea of what to expect..

Scene 1- Sapphire: Am I on a farm?
Myself: I think you're supposed to be doing a pig right now.

Scene 2- Sapphire: Okay, that's hot.
Myself: Shh, I'm masturbating and you're ruining it.

Scene 3- Sapphire: Now that he's distracted, steal the documents!
Myself: It's a porno, she forgot about the documents.

Scene 4-Sapphire: Bam! Now she's on the table! When did that happen?
Myself: Fast forward? Dang, what just happened?

Sapphire was only with me up until scene 4, and through the bonus scenes, here's her comment on the bonus scenes..

Sex solo- Sapphire: Oh no, he didn't just wipe his cum on the table. I would kill him.
Myself: I eat on tables... Ewwww.

Van Damage extra- Sapphire: OH MY GOD WHATS WRONG WITH HIS PENIS
Myself- He shut it in a van door and now it's damaged. Get it? Van Damage. LULZ
Follow-up commentary
I didn't really love this DVD in the first place, but I haven't watched it since. I'm really just not interested in the music being so loud and not being able to hear the sounds the couples make. What's worse is that most of the scenes just aren't enough to turn me on. I've moved on to stuff by Digital Playground, because I need something less softcore.

I'm crying from laughing so hard!!!! You forgot to mention the bug that kept flying around in the outdoor bonus scene!! And Scene 1 really should have had a sheep walk through it at some point... OH!! or maybe a guy with a banjo in the background!! And I still cringe a bit every time I see a glass table... that was just NASTY! He acted like he was wiping gum of his shoe on a curb and looking like he was waiting to get caught!!!

Great Review!!! I wanna help research the next one too!!!!
