This is a well-made, soft cover book that contains almost three hundred different sex positions for couples to try. It has everything from a basic missionary, to complex positions involving a swing and impressive flexibility. It even features different positions for oral sex and positions for sex toys.

The book has a very simple set up. Every position is featured with a full page color photograph and the opposing page has a short description and name of the position. The pictures are tastefully done. While the models are nude (of course), it's not sleazy or pornographic in nature. The descriptions of the positions aren't particularly in-depth, but the descriptions with the pictures makes it very clear what the position is supposed to look like.

My partner and I appreciated the book as a way to try new things and expand out of our usual sex. While anyone can add variety to their sex with little effort, The Sex Position Bible is nice to give couples ideas. My partner and I made a game to attempt to go through every position in the book. Once a week or so we'll pick a new one and try it out. Not all of them were winners (for us) but quite a few of them have been big hits and we now incorporate them into our rotation. The book has a very convenient chart in the back with every single position and a check box, so that you and your partner can try to do every position.

One of the things that I really liked about the book was the incorporation of positions for oral sex and positions that involve toys. While the focus is certainly on all kinds of vaginal sex, it was certainly nice to see some different options and suggestions for foreplay.

The book still provides lots of great ideas! I like having it sit around and being able to peruse it with my partner and figure out if we want to try out something new that night or if we'd rather stick to something tried and true.
