Pros
Lots of practical ideas, small and easy to carry around.
Cons
Print is pretty small.
The 100 Best Foreplay Tips Ever is a cute and light hearted book. It is small and compact but covers an extensive amount of information. Although the print is a little small, the layout of the book makes for easy reading. There are five sections to the book, each with tips related to different areas.
Section one focuses on the basic warm up moves. Who knew that men and women react differently to the way they are kissed and which lip is most sensitive for men and women. There really are differences. The amount of time that lips touch your partner can also alter your passion motors. This section continues with touching. It provides tips on how to caress your partner and what caresses seem to have the best impact on those passionate feelings. Most of the tips contain several mini tips rolled into one topic tip.
Section two moves into using your senses to enhance your foreplay. Touch is the one sense that is most often associated with foreplay and sex but all of our senses can aid in driving us over the edge. Each sense affects different parts of the brain and to get the most out of our foreplay, all the areas of the brain need to get kick started. This section begins with the sense of sound - both talking and music. It goes straight into the sense of taste, using all the different tastes we normally have on our tongue. It goes a step further by giving tips on how to use spices to enhance your experience. Tips include spices that sweet, tangy, to spicy and hot. Providing your partner with a peep show, without letting them touch you, is how the book encourages the reader to use their sense of sight. Lightening is also discussed and different lighting situations are encouraged. Smells also come into play (no pun intended) when trying to get you and your partner aroused. Did you know that the smell of rose is directed related to libido? Bet the sell of rose pedal, candles, and bushes go up after reading this book!
Section three continues with the basic sense of touch but goes into more detail with temperatures, the effects of different temperatures, and what areas of the body respond best to cold and/or hot. It also provides tips on caressing, or almost caressing (keeping your hands close to the body but not actually touching). Caressing not only includes those “sex” areas, but the entire body - starting at the head and ending at the feet, or vise versa.
The next section goes past the senses and into tips that encourage things you and your partner can do together. These tips include shaving-yourself or letting your partner shave you; watching porn or masturbating with/in front of our partner; and using sex toys! This section goes on to provide other ideas using heat and cold, including one of my favorites- freezing water in a condom and having an instant dildo. They don't stress the need to use a non lubricated condom but I would strongly recommend it
The last 15 tips are included in section five-entitled the Melt Down Moves. These tips are more for when things are already going strong. They encourage changing things up from the normal routine ways you're used to, but not forgetting the tried and true.
Overall, this is a fun packed book. It's an inexpensive book that provides tips using things you generally have around the house or apartment so you don't have depend extra to get the benefits of it. A lot of the tips listed are known to most people but if you have been in a relationship for a long period of time, things can become stuck in a rut. This book gives new ideas and reminders of ones that might have been forgotten. My only problem with the book is the small print. The pages are colorful and the lay out of the book is easy to read, even if you have to put on the reading glasses.

Experience
When I got the book, I read through it the first day. After reading it, I put it in hubby's favorite reading place - the bathroom. The first day, it just laid there. He didn't even see it. The next day, I asked him if he had looked at it, knowing he hadn't. He said no, he hadn't seen it. When I showed it to him, he tried to use the excuse that it was so small is why he didn't see it! Not likely. I didn't say anything else to him about it but I did notice the book had been moved. Not long afterward, he started doing some of the tips that were included in the book- like kissing my top lip, gently caressing my palms (lots nerve endings are located there), and by excessive teasing but not touching areas. Since he has started reading and referring to the book, our foreplay has definitely increased, leading to even better sex, when the time arrives. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for new tips to increase their foreplay, couple who have gotten “stuck” in their routine, or for partners who need a little encouragement or imagination.
This little book just gets better as the days go by. I've left it out and hubby has really picked up on the suggestions in it. He is more into trying the ideas than I ever thought possible. A great PLUS for us!!

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
Over the past few weeks, there has been a lot of tension around here regarding lots of things but we have used this little book to help us get through it! Hubby has really picked up on lots of the suggestions and it has been fun. One of the suggestions in one of the forums regarding foreplay should be included in this book. It involved animal crackers and we have actually used this suggestion several times. The book is holding up well and is as cute as ever. It has been well worth the small price we paid for it.
