Lesbian Sex 101 review
The actual presentation of the book is done well, and it is very hot to look at, but instead of making it your ultimate guide to lesbian sex, it might be better off sitting on your coffee table.

When I received Lesbian Sex 101, I was surprised at how small and cute it was for a sex guide. It is travel-sized and fits easily into a purse or backpack, although it is not in any way discreet; the cover shows a picture of two women embracing with the title emblazoned across it.
I started to flip through the book, very eager to check it out. I have found that finding the right position for lesbians can be kind of difficult, so a book detailing 101 different lesbian sex positions? I thought that it was pretty awesome. I was impressed by the book's clean, clear layout, and the beginning has an index of all 101 positions for quick indexing.
I found the book to be easy to navigate, and each position takes up two pages. One page contains an excellent quality, clear and incredibly hot picture of the pose, while the opposite page details precisely how to go about getting into this position and what it entails. I found the models to be very attractive, and just flipping through the book was enough to get me pretty excited. The explanations were also very clear and well-written, so I knew what I was supposed to be doing.
Despite the book's perks, there were a few things that I found disappointing, and vaguely ridiculous. Each pose is given a name which really does nothing to describe the pose at all, and some are downright cheesy; "The Bush Agenda," "Riveting Rosie," etc. They renamed many already commonly known sex positions, which I found to be rather confusing.
After some close investigation, I found that many of the positions are just marginally altered versions of other poses already in the book. It seems that in order to get all 101 positions, the book just tweaked a few things. Many of the positions seem incredibly unnatural as well, and require a good amount of acrobatics. Some seem downright uncomfortable. Many of the positions just seem like foreplay.
Overall, I would say the book is incredibly cheesy, but not too bad if you're looking for some ideas. The actual presentation of the book is done well, and it is very hot to look at, but instead of making it your ultimate guide to lesbian sex, it might be better off sitting on your coffee table.
