Harold Lloyd's Hollywood Nudes in 3-D! review
I was really surprised at how aesthetically pleasing the photos were: they are all old Hollywood models, examples of true classic beauty. Unlike most of today's models, these gorgeous women have curves. Many of the photos reminded me of pin-ups.

The first thing that caught my eye when I received “Hollywood Nudes in 3D” was its cover. Could this truly be something erotic? A naked woman is lounging around on her back, smiling towards you on a white backdrop filled with hanging paper decorations. The title is written in a bold, exciting font, informing you that it contains “Hollywood Nudes in 3- D! Includes 3-D Glasses Inside!” on blue and orange circles. The cover is printed on that kind of 3-D optical illusion material where if you look at it one way, you can see the letters, and if you look at it another the text disappears. With the exception of the smiling naked women on the front, the whole thing reminded me of a 3-D children’s book.
Upon opening the book, I discovered that it did indeed come with 3-D glasses. About half of the photos in the book are 3-D, while the others are normal material. I had some issues getting the glasses to stay on; they kept falling off of my head, so I kept having to hold them with one hand.

Sometimes the 3-D wasn’t all that effective; the red and blue tones didn’t come together very well. I would have rather had some of these just be regular photos, because they seemed very beautiful. When it worked, though, boy did it work! There are a few really stunning photos and the 3-D really manages to capture the depth of the pictures. After a while, however, the glasses/colors started to hurt my eyes a little.
If you’re looking for something erotic to read to get into the mood, this book isn’t what you want; it truly is art instead of porn. The photos are fun, beautiful and tastefully done.
