Hand Me a Different Book
For hand job novices this will provide some new information. If you've given or received a handjob before you probably already know everything this book is going to say.
Published:
Pros
good title, funny descriptions
Cons
very short, little new information
I was very excited to receive this book. A handjob can be incredibly pleasurable and my wife and I were both excited to learn some new techniques for play. My first red flag came when the book arrived. The thick, bulbous cover and cardboard pages reminded me of my two-year old's board books, not a sex manual. The title and the names of some of the techniques were pithy and witty, but the wit didn't make up for the fact that little new information is presented in this book.
The book is less than forty pages and it contains twenty-five different techniques/handjobs throughout. At the beginning of the book there is a bit on the anatomy of a penis and a "Frequently Asked Questions" (FAQ) section, which is the section my wife found most helpful and enlightening. The questions in the FAQ were strong and insightful, and this was the most useful part of the book for my wife. She wished it were longer. The handjobs all have different designations, depending on what you are in the mood for. "DIY" would of course refer the to the man taking matters into his own hands, "Quickies" should be self-explanatory, "Appetizers" are a little more substantial, and "Special Occasions" are the Rolls Royce of handjobs. Each technique has a cute name and a difficulty level.
I wanted to like this book, I really did. But the pictures are not stimulating or helpful at all. No real penises are displayed, which makes the anatomy section a little difficult to get through. I actually went to an old anatomy textbook from college to detail things for my wife. My biggest problem was that most of the techniques in the book are ones that, as a male, you've probably discovered on your own at some point. Yes, we didn't give them a witty name or necessarily even know fully what we were doing, but as I looked at most of the techniques I was like, "Oh, I know how to do that." I mostly got this for my wife because she enjoys giving handjobs and wanted to be better at them. As she flipped through the book she commented on how these techniques were pretty self-explanatory. I will give the authors a lot of credit for the names, especially "The Playstation", "Tainted Love", and "Squeeze Play".
If you're a parent the pages and binding of this book will probably put you off. It just reminds you too much of the book you hold and read to your children before bedtime (though hopefully with a little different source material.) Clearly, a lot of thought was put into this book and the titles are very witty. I just wish that there was more substance within the pages, and it had pictures that were not as cute/funny. A certain tone was clearly aimed for by the authors and it just wasn't what I was hoping for.

Follow-up commentary

I just couldn't get over the juvenile nature of this book, especially the children's book type binding and cardboard pages. My wife has read through it several times and giggles each time. She did say there was some useful info, but it was certainly not what we were hoping for. If you purchase this item, purchase it more as a gag gift than a useful text.
