For a useful and attractive reference book, look no further than "The Big Bang," by Nerve.
Although this is full of information, it is far from reading a textbook or scouring the internet- some of this information may not even be found with either of those resources. Intimacy should be fun and at some times it is downright silly! Nerve captures this emotion and writes their information in a relatable and innately human way.

Pros
Attractive, educational, humorous, fun to read.
Cons
This was not an issue for me but this book does have a heterosexual demographic.
This is a quality read which represents the personality and goals of Nerve perfectly. Subjects which I have always felt comfortable with, such as anal play, oral sex, female ejaculation and BDSM, were discussed in an informative manner which I have never experienced before. These topics were written in a comprehensive style even experienced players can appreciate while questions which generally go undiscussed were explained intelligently and still full of Nerve humor. Because this book is about sex, certain chapters provide the reader with outside resources for further reading which was an excellent touch.
"The Big Bang" helped me learn a lot about both my body and my partner's. Because we read this together, it also expanded our physical relationship, solved minor problems we were having, and gave us an opportunity to discuss subjects that usually would be uncomfortable.
One subject this book opened up for my partner and I were STDs. I know, "blah, blah, blah, I've heard it all before, why would I read that again so stop lecturing me." That's how I felt at first, but this chapter is very worth ten or fifteen minutes of reading. I know you are all smart, sexy and seductive people so if you have bumped uglies with anything other than a brand new dildo, please stick it out through the STD section! It's worth it, I promise.
Although this book targets a heterosexual demographic, I would still suggest this to any homosexual couples or singles. It really is overflowing with applicable information- a gay friend of mine is currently borrowing this book and is really appreciating the content and writing style. However, if you are a sexual minority, I would suggest finding a more specialized book.
Overall, this is a wonderful book and I would suggest it for both sexual rookies and veterans.

Follow-up commentary
20 days after original review
This book has been passed around to a few friends by now and every person has appreciated it more than the last. I'm very happy I had the opportunity to review this product because not only did it open up my love life but also helped expand my sexual knowledge. Aside from that, it is still a wonderful coffee table book or conversation starter. This is a solid purchase for any individual or couple who is looking for their first or even an additional reference book. In the future, I will most likely purchase a second Nerve book because I enjoyed this one so much.
