Fifty Shades of F****d up! (Spoiler Alert)
This book to me was great, in all honesty this book has major flaws but if you're just looking for a book to entertain you and consume you, not expecting a well written book then I say go for it, you’ll love it, but if you're a novel reader or are expecting this to be some well written English literature style BDSM book, then don’t waste your time or money. I enjoyed all three books and am looking forward to the movies, definitely worth the money.

One word, AMAZING! Yes I know, you probably think I'm insane if I think this book is any good, but I needed to switch it up a bit, I needed a break from the Jane Austen novels so this was a drastic and much needed book for me. Before you start thinking I'm comparing the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy to Jane Austen let me just clarify that I'm not! Fifty Shades was a great book, and by that I mean that the story line was great, the sex crazed love story was great, but unfortunately, I must admit that the writing was BAD! I mean it was really bad, E.L. James couldn't have tried harder to make these books almost identical in writing to the Twilight Saga even if she tried, I mean I understand this book is like a Twilight fan-fiction and was inspired by the Twilight Saga but come on, she could have done a much better job writing this book.
I hate that she is so repetitive throughout the whole book, and I do mean the WHOLE book, almost every sex session in the book sounded identical to the previous sex session and so on and so on, also she made Anastasia Steele, which is the main girl in the book, seem too desperate, needy and with little dignity.
So to let me tell you what the book is about, it's about a girl name Anastasia Steele who falls in love with a man named Christian Grey, a millionaire who is highly respected, well known and very serious. They begin a sex crazed BDSM relationship but not before Christian explains to Anastasia that he doesn't do the whole girlfriend thing, just BDSM fuck buddies, and Anastasia, the virgin with no dignity, happily accepts his proposition and gives him her virginity, to later find out that she has fallen in love with him, (how predictable) and when she finally tells Christian she wants more than just the BDSM relationship they have, the poor man freaks out because he’s not used to having feelings for someone and he doesn't think he can ever be in a stable relationship due to the fact that he’s so fucked up from his past, so Anastasia leaves him because he can't give her what she wants. That is how the first book ends.

This gets such bad reviews and I've read enough of them to figure out that I would hate it. I am so glad you liked it though! That's good to hear. I enjoyed reading. Thank you for sharing, especially about the repeatitive-ness. I get bored when books are like that.

great review, I am thinking about reading it though lol

I've read the entire trilogy and still like it. Perhaps because I have a very boring life. And perhaps it's because it's made me see pleasure out there to take hold of and enjoy.

These books aren't all that bad. I mean really how many awful books create a worldwide sensation? Yes, the writing, well, this isn't my review but you nailed it about the writing. I found them an easy read and am thrilled that they've inspired so many women (and men)to think outside the box when it comes to their sexuality.

Thanks for the review. The writing isn't the greatest, but hey, it's a fun read, and more power to it if it encourages people to be a little more adventurous in the bedroom.
