This book is splendid! When I saw that this type of book was offered on EdenFantasys, I immediately applied. As you can tell from the title, Family Jewels: a guide to male genital play and torment, this book is about Cock And Ball Torture (CBT). Family Jewels is published by Greenery Press, with a great introduction written by Midori Fetish, a professional female dominant.

While I have never engaged in this behavior myself (considering I am female bodied and have never had a partner who wished to participate), I have always been interested in learning more about this fetish. Within pages I had gained skills and tons of queer friendly information. I found this book to contain a wealth of information shared in an easy conversational style from an experienced player. Hardy Haberman clearly tells the reader how to participate in safe sane and consensual CBT. He offers tips and techniques for mild scenes to the most spicy. There are photos and easily indexed chapters.

Hardy Haberman takes the reader through the most basic information to the most complex. For example, an early chapter explains male anatomy, while the end teaches the reader how to safely vice an entire cock! As a virtual sex worker, this book has not left my desk side table. As customers make a request about CBT, I can turn to the index and locate the information with ease. This is my new favorite manual. It’s got a good first few chapters that talk about the idea behind CBT (cock and ball torture), how to talk to your partner(s) about being into this, generic safety, basic male genital anatomy, etc. I really am glad that they included both the safety section (always important in any kink book), as well as the pictures/diagram, and body parts segment, because so few people know the ins and out of genital anatomy (even if they are the owners of the same parts). As with many kink books, there is a good list of resources at the end of the book, perfect for anyone looking to get more involved into CBT play. Resources are so important and great to have, so I appreciate them having that in this book. The human experience of pleasure just can’t be placed on an absolute scale that’s meaningful from one person to another.
