Pros
Well written, easy to read, and informative.
Cons
No cons for this one.
I enjoyed this book quite a bit. I recycle, eat organic when I can afford it, and try to use products that are not tested on animals and that are environmentally friendly. I basically try to do my part to not destroy the earth as much as possible. Page 1 of this book states, "You're oh-so-good at being green - at least that's what you tell yourself as you carry home your 'I am not a plastic bag' tote filled with nontoxic goodies. But here's the dirty truth: If you haven't thought about greening your sex life, you're still a total environmental disaster." I felt like this described me and began reading away.
The book is a pretty standard size trade paperback that contains 216 pages of knowledge on how to be more friendly to the environment. The book was easy to read and contained so much useful information that I have already loaned it to two different friends. The book strongly advocates checking the labels on your hair care products, bath and beauty products, lubes, and sex toys. Toxins in these things are not only bad for your reproductive health, but they are harmful to the environment.
The book is split into three major sections, so you can skip around and do not have to read the book from cover to cover. The first section focuses on seduction and includes things like wine, underwear and lingerie, and bath and beauty products. The second part moves on to sexual health and sex. It covers things like birth control pills, condoms, and having a healthy body. The last section moves on to things like green sex toys and what kinds of materials are better for your body and the environment.
What I liked most about this book is that it is informative and helpful, but does not shame you for not doing these things already. It has recipes for how to make your own body scrubs, bath oils, and massage oils. The book has a wealth of information from eco-friendly birth control to eating healthier. Each mini-section lists helpful websites to find more information as well as companies who are green and responsible.
As someone who does care about the environment, I was not sure I would learn much from this book. I was so wrong. The book taught me several things to revamp my sex life in a more healthy and green way that I can feel good about. This is one that I will keep and re-read as needed. I highly recommend it to those who are curious about being greener, as well as those who are already savvy about eco-friendly issues.

Experience
I absolutely loved this book. I mostly spent time reading up on green sex toys and lube. I did not realize how many chemicals are in some types of personal lubricants. I also started looking at packaging on sex toys, and if the toys are rechargeable. I was very happy to notice how many environmentally friendly products are on the Edenfantasys website.
Follow-up commentary

I still love this book. I was able to find some new internet resources for being more green in my love life. I have been able to share this information with friends and family. I also have changed the types of lubes I use to be more environmentally friendly and have started using rechargeable batteries.

good review, thanks for sharing.

were there any huge surprises from the book that stood out? something that was a major polluter and doesn't seem like it? steps for a greener sex life that were surprisingly easy?
