Dirty and Gritty
This book is one of the most down and dirty books I have ever read! If you are looking for some really wild boys doing really wild things then this is the book you have been looking for. If you prefer less reality to your erotica then I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Wild Boys edited by Richard Labonte is a very gritty and dirty gay erotica anthology that will turn what you know about gay sex on it's head! This book is not for the faint of heart and the subject matter is not the average set of erotic stories. The stories in this book are not romantic they are instead just this side of completely dark. This is erotica for real men!
Mr. Labonte has brought together some cutting edge authors to share their vision of what it means to be a "Wild Boy". Frequent Cleis Press readers may recognize quite a few of these authors: J.M. Snyder, Jeff Mann, Michael Bracken, Dale Chase, Landon Dixon, Martin Delacroix, Davem Verne, Roscoe Hudson, R.G. Martin, Hank Edwards, Daniel W. Kelly, C.C. Williams, Jonathan Asche, Logan Zachary, Dominic Santi, and Joe Marohl.
Our editor admits that he is the very epitome of the tame boy but he does love to read about the exploits of those who walk firmly on the wild side of life. These main characters are not falling in love they are rutting, they are taking what is offered and sucking the life and essence right out of it! They are not wining and dining they are firing up the grill and smoking. These boys are doing what they please and what they get up to will either make you cringe, or make you want to try a bit of the wild yourself. What it will not do is bore you.
The book takes off with the story Cruising On Cary Street by J.M. Snyder. In this slick and fast paced story we are introduced to a cop who has just returned to the job after suffering the loss of his lover. He is determined to move on and finds a willing accomplice to ease his broken heart.
Next we are treated to a story that whisks us away from the big city to a little town in the mountains. In Satyr by Jeff Mann we meet a love weary guy who is presented with a chance to save another young man who shares his tastes. This is a pretty special read!
Back to the big city we go in The Hitter and the Stall by Michael Bracken. In this little flight of fancy we meet a couple of pick pockets. The older, more experienced grifter is pinched by a young and impressionable ingenue. Our experienced taker decides that he wants to possess the youngster in all ways. Don't worry he's old enough to be able to agree to the advances!
From the city we are taken back in time to the wild wild west. Well honestly, where in the world are boys more wild than in the wild west? The sheriff of our town is horny and when he hears that a sweet young outlaw has wandered into his saloon, the fun begins. In The Outlaw Paulie Creed by Dale Chase we get to see how wild the west might have been. I will warn you, gentle reader, that this story deals with felching and the act is described in exhaustive detail.
What is a young punk going to do to amuse himself after a day of studying? Why, he'll dress in rags and ride the subway trawling for an older, affluent man to discipline! Spare the Rod, Spoil the Adult by Landon Dixon takes us where few dare to go, and then it, thoughtfully, drives us back home.
This anthology also offers something much more gentle and playful in the form of Sometimes Sex Just Happens by Danial W. Kelly. IN this cute little tale we meet Scott and Tim who have been friends for many years. They realize that they share a deep attraction but were never in a place where they could explore this attraction. Then Tim finds himself single and Scott's new love is most accommodating...
This book is not for the faint of heart and it's also not for anyone looking for misty, sweet romance. This is gritty, dirty, down and lusty sex. It is man on man doing everything that two men can get up to. If reading about the exploited of real men turns you on then this is the book for you!
Each of the stories is medium length- perfect for a read just before bed but not so short you will eat them like bon-bons.

Experience
There is a lovely foreword by Richard Labonte and a little blurb of an autobiography of the editor and each of the authors. This is where you can learn the web address of any author you want to know more about!
The cover of the book advertises exactly what this book is about so you aren't, probably, going to want to pull this out for a look see at work. The guy on the cover is yummy, though....just saying!
I have to admit that I really didn't like many of the stories int his book but then again I am a CIS female that really digs romantic stories that feature sex. This book is SO not one of those types of books. That's not to say that it's a bad book or poorly written, it's just not my cup of tea.
