Daily Sex Activities, Not Just Positions
This book can be helpful for a couple in a rut. It can spark some ideas to inspire couples to keep their sexual activity as a big part of the intimacy of their relationship. This is NOT a book about finding new positions or trying new adventures for more advanced sexual exploration. It's geared more towards a couple who needs help exploring sex together, giving them basic ideas and simple activities to get started on a path of sensual exploration with each other.

Pros
Good basic ideas to spark intimacy between a couple
Cons
Basic, non-helpful drawings, different variations on basic sex, exploring bodies not positions.
This book is geared towards couples in committed relationships, stressing the importance of a good sex life to enhance intimacy. While some could use this book just for the fun of trying different positions, it includes more different activities and variations of basic positions than anything creative like hanging off the door. Most of the ideas in here are to enhance stimulation and get couples started on the exploration of each others' bodies.
This is one of the first books I got from Eden Fantasys a little over 2 years ago. My thoughts on it are bittersweet as it did not live quite up to my expectations, but did leave me with pondering different ideas.
Let me start with the basic cover-- Please note that the whole title is: "daily sex 365 POSITIONS and ACTIVITIES for a YEAR of GREAT SEX!" The reason I mention the title is that this is not a book of 365 positions for sex, but 365 sexual activities, some of which include sexual positions. Of those 365 sexual activities, many activities are just variations of the same idea, so there aren't as many new ideas as one would hope.
The book is split into 12 months, and those months are split into 30 days each, with 7 "Extra Days" activities at the very end of the book to cover the months that have 31 days. This gives you 367 sexual activities in all throughout the book. (Apparently February will just have to get along with 2 days of extra homework.) Each day is covered in one page of the book with the following information: Title of the position or activity, a basic and non-detailed drawing (yes, a drawing; I will get to that disappointment in a little bit), about a 3-4 paragraph description of what to do, and then a little rating temperature gauge with cold, warm, hot, or sizzling for you to fill in so that you and your partner can rate the activity.
One of the best things I can comment on in this book is actually the introduction to the book. While the 365 activities can inspire some ideas to try, the introduction was pretty good because it explained the importance of daily sex in keeping a couple's intimacy intact, both emotionally and physically. It also explained that you do not need to use the book literally every day, but that you adjust it to your schedule. The introduction reminds a couple that adventure is part of the intimacy of sex, and using this book can help you communicate with your partner about new ideas and different sexual activities. In discussing between the two of you what was good and what was not, you can create more intimacy between you and your partner. I think the introduction was very well done and made it one of the higher points of this book.
Lastly the pictures: This was the biggest disappointment for me. While it was somewhat disappointing that most of the book was simple activities, there were some pretty interesting positions that I have not thought about trying. Unfortunately I am a visual person, and descriptions of where to place what just aren't enough, so I like pictures. Drawings are fine too, but they need to be detailed, and this book simply is not. The drawings are simple and rarely show any genital areas at all, just bodies smushed up together. From the cover, it shows a picture of two bodies intertwined and I expected that there would be photographs, but no such luck.
Overall, this book can help couples in a rut to spend a little more time exploring and trying some new sensations, but it is not simply 365 days of great sex.

Experience
SPOILER: For those who don't want to learn specifics on a few "positions and activities" in the book, stop reading!
For an example of my statement that these are variations on the same ideas: on Month 1, Day 5, the activity is for the male to use a feather to explore his mate's body, with some samples of where to rub the feather and how it can excite a female. Then on Month 11, Day 20, the activity is again to use a feather, but instead it is the female's turn to use it to explore her partner's body, with samples of where to rub the feather and how it excites the male.
A further example is: on Month 3, Day 6, the activity is to have sex in water. Simply that, be it a pool, hot tub shower, etc. and it gives ideas of how water/soap/etc. can be used to explore the body. The picture is simply one of a female and a male cuddling in the shower. Then on Month 1, Day 21, the activity is for the female to manually stimulate the male's penis in the shower, again using the idea of water being slippery and lathering up. The simple picture shows a couple in the shower with the female behind the male, his back towards her, with her arms wrapped around him to his front massaging his penis. Very basic.
Also as stated, I tried some of this and an example of the lack of detail and photographs is found on Month 1, Day 22, where the idea is to have doggie style type sex, but with both of you flat with the man on top of the woman. It describes how to get into the position by starting with standard doggie style position on hands and knees, and then slowly extend the legs out. Then it states that this is a coordinated effort and that's pretty much it. Well, my husband and I tried and quite frankly couldn't even see how we could slide our feet "in a coordinated effort" with him being able to stay in. Instead he ended up trying to climb on me to maintain position, and well, it was tiring and frustrating and we gave it up for regular froggie style. While we tried it, and for this book that is the point, my point is that there was not much detail on what you were supposed to do, and the little picture was simply one of a naked male lying on top of a naked female who is lying face down. Not much help.

thanks for all the info

Very helpful review. I don't often go in for books that promote a variety of positions and the like. Its good to know that this is mostly just a book of ideas not for experienced couples.

helpful review, especially the experience
