Published:
Pros
Clearly laid out practical advice. A book you can use over a period of time.
Cons
Typos and spelling mistakes are irritating. Some of the resources are be out of date.
You know, there are oodles of books on BDSM available out there but one book stands out above the rest for delivering realistic, inspirational and practical guide on aspects of service, obedience and proper values for those involved or interested in consensual owner/slave relationships.
Another wonderful book published by the well known Greenery Press, Erotic Slavehood by Christina Abernathy is 192 pages of wisdom and experience. You are graced with not one but two books condensed into one manual.
The first section is the 'Miss Abernathy's Concise Slave Training Manual' first published in 1996. Its 72 pages are divided into two parts and is geared for the Dominant half to read. Part One covers the training program, covering areas such as the interview, journaling, written training assignments, forms of service, the collar, tools for training, physical preparation and many other basic areas of training. The advice within these pages is invaluable. Part two covers the D/s relationship. What to look for, ethics, support for the submissive, types of arrangements, contracts.
The second section is the second book Christina Abernathy published in 1998 in response to a demand from the first book she laid out a detailed training program for training the erotic slave, 'Training with Miss Abernathy'.
This part is geared towards the submissive/slave. Within these 135 pages are 50 detailed lessons. Each with an activity to do afterwards and resources and suggested reading for each. Areas covered are wide starting with an introduction then moving on to basic training such as obedience, journaling, voice training, personal care, positions and the collar. Topics such as household management provide you with skills you can learn. In-depth studies on sex slaves, servants, and more advanced studies looking at live in arrangements, permanent marks, serving multiple owners, training others and ethical slavehood.
The book has a wonderful foreword written by the well known author of The Marketplace Series, Laura Antoniou and also and editor's note from another author Janet. W. Hardy in which she explains the updated new resources and references contained within the new publication of these popular decade old books.
In the back section you are granted a D/s reading list, a resource guide and a selected bibliography.

Experience
This book has been one I have been itching to read for a long while after having it highly recommended to me by a slave friend who to me is an amazing service girl and someone I admire greatly for her devotion to service. The book demands etiquette and courage to be the best you can be and offers a wealth of information and advice on how to do just that.
It's a book you don't have to read all in one sitting and can be picked up time and time again. A single or owned submissive/slave would find something useful in this book. As would a dominant and/or owner.
It has become my utmost favourite book and one I refer to often. If you have been considering reading this book and would like to enhance your skills in consensual slavery or owner looking to train, then you may well find very useful advice here.
