Books 1 and 2 on Repeat
Assuming you've read books one and two, if you're interested in this book, my recommendation is, move on. This is the same story and same scenes you've already read just with a different cover. Still hot, but frustratingly repetitive.

This is the 3rd and final book in the 50 Shades trilogy. This is more or less, a repeat of the previous two books. It covers the same ground, doesn't go any deeper into BDSM, and romanticizes the relationship between Anastasia Steele-Grey and Christian Grey more than ever.
I'm really a fan of books, but this final book in the trilogy was the breaking point for me. It is so unbelievably repetitive that I almost put it down. Another reviewer wrote that it is the same thing on every page. That's exactly how I feel. It's the same sexual encounter replayed with a different toy and the same faux emotional responses from two "lovers" who should never have gone past a one night stand.
To write that a dominant like Christian Grey would ever A, pursue an unknowing virgin like Anastasia Steele and B, give up his lifestyle to be with her and only her forever and ever, is really unfair. In a way, the author is insinuating that Christian Grey's lifestyle is wrong and can be corrected and that the only way to be happy with another person is to be "vanilla."
I was not a fan of the writing style of the series, but I can get over that as I really wasn't expecting much. What I did want is to be unable to put the book down. The only reason I finished this book was to give myself the satisfaction of completing the trilogy. The writing style is beyond poor, the story is incredibly repetitive and the entire plot is romanticized beyond belief.
If you really need to read this trilogy, I recommend reading book one and stopping there. It's sexy, fun and new, without being overly repetitive. If you're reading this review because you've already read books one and two, well, you've come this far and you might as well finish, but don't say I didn't tell you so!

Follow-up commentary

I stick by my original review. Book three offers very little satisfaction as it is more or less a repeat of the first two books. The book is very judging towards BDSM play and relationships. I do not recommend this book as an accurate depiction of a lifestyle or as an informative read. If you read the first two this book does not even satisfy the desire for a steamy read. It really is just a reiteration of the same story. Save yourself the time and read something more rewarding.

Funny, you say stop reading after book 1... I had to read book 2 after the cliffhanger ending of book 1, but I happily ended on book 2. I didn't think I needed another dose of "inner goddess." lol, thanks for the review and proving me right.

My wife loved all 3, they're not for everyone but we're still happy with it.

This book leaves you wanting more

i have to agree, once you read book 1 and 2 you are compelled to read book 3 but it starts out so weird i thought i missed a chapter or something.

Rexy - I wish I had stopped at like you did! She really does leave you hanging and hoping for more, but I didn't feel that book 3 provided it. Like Debo says, it just feels odd and rushed.

OMG....Anna's "my sex" and Christian's "happy trail" never failed to make me gag. Laters, baby.
-
I agree the writing style was pretty bad.
