Bind Me
Best Bondage Erotica 2011 was edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel. As indicated by the title, all the stories focus on bondage of some sort. I recommend this book to those who enjoy some kink in their erotica or for those looking for a break from the more "vanilla". Overall this is a good collection, I give it 4 stars.

Some people may not like that the stories are mostly the submissive's perspective
Best Bondage Erotica 2011 is a collection of erotic short stories for those who like their erotica on the more kinky side. The stories were selected and edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel who has put together numerous anthologies with various themes (she also has edited Best Bondage Erotica 2012 and 2013).
The cover of this book has a women bound and slightly suspended (or maybe her feet are touch the ground, I can’t tell) in a black corset-style top and black boots and gloves with the fingers cut out. You can see a fair amount of skin. This same image is also on the back cover of the book with the description. If you plan on reading this on the train and/or in public just be prepared for a couple stares. It is not anything that should spark anger in people but let’s face it; it is not your everyday book cover (nor is it your everyday book).
This book contains 20 stories written by authors who are well known of who you might not be as familiar with. When I first started reading erotic anthologies, I will admit that if I didn’t see enough of the “big names” I was less likely to pick up that book. However, I have come a long ways in my tastes and in the way that I appreciate erotic stories now. There are MANY authors who are writing great stories that are just not as out there as the big names. I just had to add this information in here as a side note.
Although these stories feature different settings, characters and levels of kink, they are mostly told from the submissive character’s perspective. I don’t mind this as I feel like a good erotic story can be told from any point of view, but some people may be looking for more variety. I have read Best Bondage Erotica 2013 and there is more variation in this (If you like this type of erotica I HIGHLY recommend this one). There is a fair amount of variety in the type of kinky play, but maybe 1/5 of the stories are a little on the lighter side.
I did have my favorites in this one and they are:
Foreign Exchange by Evan Mora
The Ingénue by Janine Ashbless
Subdue by Dusty Horn
Vegas Treat by Rachel Kramer Bussel
Do You See What I Feel by Teresa Noelle Roberts
Relative Anonymity by Emerald

Experience
Overall I give this anthology 4 stars as there are many great stories, but there were also some that didn’t do it for me. I know that not EVERY story in a collection of this nature is going to be my favorite but I have come across erotic anthologies that were definitely 5 stars. I always enjoy reading some good erotica and I was definitely turned on by many of these stories!
