I absolutely love The Guide to Getting It On. I have both the third edition and first edition of this book. Each new edition of the book series that they come out with is better than the first. This book is so informative and insightful. Out of all the books I have read related to sex, I personally think that this series of books trumps any college sexuality class and book by far! I have read my share of them and I have never felt more interested, captivated and informed as I have by this book.

One of the things I most enjoyed about the book was the sarcastic, lax sense of humor when explaining some of what can be the most personal things. It makes it so much easier for a more closed person to read rather than a sex position book, a anatomy book or a sensuality book. I felt no shame or shyness reading this book and recommend this book to every one. All the topics discussed throughout the pages in this book are laid out in an easy-to-read straightforward manner and easy to understand way, so the youngest and inexperienced person can read this and feel like one of the pros.

This book is a must-have if your sexually inexperienced, interested in more than just what is going on in your sex life or if you're just looking for some fun reading which discusses new techniques for a better experience in bed. I think that everyone should read this, even the most experienced person could learn something new or open their mind to another side to sexuality. Gay, bisexual, lesbian, transgender, queer or straight, this book has something for everyone. It even covers religion. It's amazing. Your brain and clit/penis (or whatever bits you have) will be stimulated in more than one way.

I had a wonderful experience with this book. I love how it talks about the straight and the not so straight side of sex. Being a queer person, I personally couldn't use a lot of the information on the straight end of the book but I still gobbled the knowledge up.

Oh you! I absolutely, hands down, still love this book. I have read it over and over. Its a great coffee table book and the illustrations are amazing. I don't know how many people I have lent it or recommended it to. Buy this book! Educate yourselves! Have a laugh while learning something that you never knew before!
