Content / Style / Audience

The Mile High Club is 187 pages of, you guessed it, joining the Mile High Club in some fashion or another. One might expect this book to be filled with lots of stories about slinking away to the plane's bathroom, hoping not to be seen by other passengers or flight attendants, but Bussel has managed to find some very interesting stories that while not the most realistic thing that could happen, are still believable enough to get into. "Flights of Fancy" is one of these, where a couple on their way to Florida for a vacation to celebrate their first anniversary winds up getting bumped to a different flight that it turns out is filled with exhibitionists all having sex with each other.

There are a few stories of slinking off to the bathroom, but a large majority of them involve hiding under a blanket in some manner. While every single story has some great sex appeal, not every single story actually contains 'sex' in the manner that one might think, for instance Wild Child shows us how ice cubes can be used in an erotic setting on a airplane when an older man teaches a younger girl that joining the mile high club aren't all just "dumb conformists who want to do it because they read about it in a magazine."

Another nice thing is that not every story is all heterosexual. There aren't that many that delve into any kind of homosexuality, but the few that are in there are a hot read.

All in all this book is filled with some very hot stories; however, they aren't the greatest attention catchers for everybody.

Design

The book itself is relatively small, about 8" tall by 5 1/2" wide. As a paperback, it won't hold up to tons and tons of abuse, but with normal use, it will be fine. There's really nothing discreet about either the front or the back cover of this book. Anybody who looks at it is definitely going to know what you're reading. So if you don't want people to know what you're reading, I'd suggest fashioning a cover out of something like a brown paper bag.

Experience

I've always wanted to join the mile high club, but I never had the balls to go through with it. Well, that and my fiance and I have never been on a plane together. But after reading this book, I now know that there is definitely more than one way to join the Mile High Club, and if you don't find every single story arousing, you should at the very least be able to get a couple new ideas for your next plane ride.
Follow-up commentary
Saying that I don't like it anymore is a bit much, because really I don't not like it. I just haven't had the desire to pick this one back up and read it. I would still recommend it for those who want to read about getting it on in airplane settings though.

Nothing about that ice cube story? Alright. Great book review. I'm not sure if I can count an erotic novel having a sexy cover as a con though.

Lol, I mentioned the ice cube story, just not the ice cubes. And its only a con if you wanna read in public and don't want people to know what you're reading :p

    Thanks everybody
