The book Yes, Ma'am, edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel, is a nice collection of eighteen short stories centered around female domination|Erotic Stories of Male Submission and is a pretty easy and fun read (I read the entire book in two sittings), however it didn't meet my expectations for what a thorough collection of erotica should be. I must confess I didn't want to put the book down, however this collection definitely has its shortcomings.

I am somewhat new to the world of female domination but I love the thought of being a slave to a dominant woman, of being told when and how to cum, or more appropriately when and how to make her cum. The book Yes, Ma'am is a fun read but I found most of the stories had the same scenarios, different characters but a real lack of originality. Not to give away the entire book but there were really only a handful themes across all eighteen stories. Personally, I can only read so many stories about finding a new domme or a wife being unfaithful before I lose interest. In all fairness, there are several of stories about good female dominated relationships but there are not very many sexual encounters. I found most this book to be sexually unrewarding. There is a lot of build up and very little reward in either a strong domme play or sexual release. I suppose part of the domme theme is that the slave doesn't get sexual release, but expect it more then twice in eighteen stories.

All in all the book is really only fun read and kept me interested (and hard) but it wouldn't be the first on my list of recommendations for erotica. I expect more restraints, more flogging, and more orgasms in my erotic stories. Does that make me masochistic? :P
