A Great Choice for Mutual Meditation
This is a good album for romantic lovemaking or Tantra. But if you like sex a little harder or dirtier than that, this music will put you to sleep.
Published:
Pros
Sensual and romantic.
Cons
Too much synthesizer, not enough rhythm.
When I first popped in Erotic Moods 2, my initial thought was “watered down Enigma.” And since Enigma is one of my favorite choices for lovemaking, I thought I’d give it a try. All in all, I was not impressed.
Erotic Moods 2 has a great deal of synthesized flutes, a few tracks with decent rhythms, and an overall sensual feel to it, but it’s lacking the driving beats that make it an excellent choice for sex. It sounds a bit like something you might hear in a metaphysical store… which leads me to my next point.
Every person's taste in music is as personal as their taste in sex. Some of us like soft, slow, romantic sex with lots of foreplay, maybe some erotic massage and explorations into the art of Tantra. Some of us prefer to be tied up and flogged. The kind of sex filled with filthy words and a lot of “give it to me hard baby.” My preference is the latter. Erotic Moods 2 is definitely not the kind of album that makes one think of filthy words and “give it to me hard baby.”
If you want to spend time creating a specific mood, light candles, lay a blanket on the floor with pillows scattered about, a bowl of chocolate covered strawberries at the ready, this c.d. might be perfect for you. If you like to dance, slowly and sensually, for your partner, reveling in your true Goddess nature, this music is probably a good choice. A few tracks might even be appropriate for mutual meditation. (In fact, one of the tracks is even called “Meditation.”) Unfortunately it’s not the perfect choice for mutual masturbation.
Yes this album is romantic, but for my husband and I, we were very bored very quickly. I still listen to it occasionally when I’m relaxing in a bubble bath on a rainy day. But overall, Erotic Moods 2 never really puts me in the mood.
