When I purchased this book I was excited to try giving my partner a blowjob for the first time, but I was nervous. I talked to my friends, of course, but they weren't entirely helpful. Tickle His Pickle will help you please your partner, but more importantly it will help you feel confident and allow you to have fun doing it. Sex should be fun, and that includes all parts of sex. Dr. Sadie Allison goes over the male anatomy to help you understand him and why he reacts the way he does (physically at least). She then talks about various techniques and positions for oral sex and hand jobs. The book begins with the basics and works up to more advanced techniques with multiple cartoons to illustrate what she is talking about.

In addition to oral sex and hand jobs there is discussion of anal play. Ways to help you talk about it, things to try if you are interested, and how to do it safely. Safety is a running theme throughout the book. A section is devoted to safe sex in all forms and it is mentioned and referenced in every type of sexual act covered. Dr. Sadie Allison also talks about his grooming, asking him to shave if you’d like that and how to do it in a fun way. If you’ve never tried having him shave I highly suggest it. I certainly prefer it, and it is much more fun to kiss so he’ll probably like it too.

I still enjoy this book. I bought it because I was nervous about giving my man a blow job for the first time and it definitely helped me stop being scared. I was scared that I would disappoint him and it helped me get over my fears and have fun with it. Even now it is a fun read and I enjoy looking at it periodically for things I haven't tried yet.
