The ring is very stretchy and comfortable, won't rip out hair, and can make his erection harder and longer. The bullet offers a very nice level of vibration, although it may not be enough for some.

Pros
Durable material, stretchy, inexpensive, very quiet.
Cons
Cannot be sterilized, vibrations may not be enough for some.
The Boss Cock's Pleasure Ring was definitely designed with couples in mind. Its design combines the benefits of a cock ring with the convenience of a vibrator to enhance the experience for both partners. To use just slide on down your penis and hit the button.
The ring itself is made of TPR, which means that it cannot be sterilized. Not being able to sterilize it means that you should definitely not share it. The TPR portion has a very soft rubbery feel to it. Running your finger over it will create a slight drag. Unfortunately, this ring will also catch any kind of lint and hair it can come into contact with.
The bullet is made of of a hard plastic that is completely encased in the TPR when inside the ring. The only part of the bullet that shows is the very end of it with the push button to turn it on and off. When removed the bullet is smooth to the touch.
Unstretched diameter of this ring is 7/8" with a maximum stretch diameter of 2". While playing with it before being used, I did get it to stretch much more than 2", so if you're more than 2" thick, you should still be fine.
The design is pretty basic, and that works well in my opinion. Around the ring that encircles the penis are small nubs. On the top is a "nose" that houses the bullet. The nose itself is about 1 1/2" long and runs parallel to the penis rather than sitting sideways on top of it.
My fiance experienced no discomfort whatsoever while wearing this ring.
The vibrations from the bullet are fairly strong, until you put it inside its TPR housing. I feel that this kills some of the sensation, making it harder to feel on the female's end.
It went on pretty easily as well. Once he was erect we stretched the ring out and slid it over his penis, managing to do this without actually touching his penis with the ring until it was at the base. If you desire to wear a condom, put it on after the ring goes on. The condom will sit underneath the nose of the ring and function normally. If you put it on before, you run the risk of breaking the condom due to too much friction.
The removable bullet is about one inch long, features a very simple on/off switch, and one level of fairly moderate to strong vibration. Some may find this level to be too intense. I personally didn't find it to be intense enough.
It's very quiet as well. If I hadn't been able to feel it I probably wouldn't have been able to guess it was on. I've heard cell phones vibrate louder than this bullet does.
The bullet runs on 2 watch batteries, labeled LR41, and Boss Cock's was nice enough to include an extra set.
Care and maintenance is pretty simple. I recommend removing the bullet before cleaning, and you can either wash the ring with warm water and soap or use a toy cleaner. Be careful with what you use to wipe it down, because this material will pick up every speck of anything it can, and what's the point in cleaning it if it's just going to get covered with lint from whatever you're drying it with.
You really shouldn't have to clean the bullet, but if you do I would recommend a very lightly damp cloth and just wipe it down, and then dry it, taking care to avoid getting the button wet, just in case.
You can use either water based or silicone based lubes with this ring.
For storage, keep it in something. I chose to keep it in the original box so I wouldn't lose the extra batteries that came with it. But don't let it out on its own.
The packaging was interesting. Made me laugh for a few minutes anyway. The front is basically clear plastic, allowing you to see the product inside through the front. The rest of the little box is black.
The ring itself is housed in a little plastic tray.
There were no instructions included in the package.
I wish I liked this product as much as everybody else who's reviewed it, but so far it's just been one giant failboat for me.
Every time my fiance and I have used it, I've had to have him stop so we could remove it to allow me to use another toy instead because this one just wasn't cutting it for me. No matter how I've tried to use it, I have yet to be able to finish with it. And to top it off, after only a few times out of the box, the little plastic ring that sits around the on/off button to hold it in place snapped. I took a picture to show the rest of you. It was really frustrating to see that because now it's pretty much useless unless I can find a way to wiggle another bullet in there.
But during the few times we did get to use it together, he loved it. It wasn't tight, it didn't pull at anything, and he loved being able to feel the vibrations down the shaft of his penis.
I lean more towards 3 1/2 stars, but since I can't, I'll round up to 4. This product has a great design, it's a great idea, it just hasn't worked that well for me. I would still recommend it to friends, and I'm going to try and find a way to make it work for me.
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it6 months after original review
I never did manage to find another bullet that fit well into this, and the bullet won't stay on since the plastic o-ring broke, so this has been gathering dust in its box since our second use. I haven't used it since writing the review, since the bullet won't stay on, and I'm tossing it. If I can get another one for free, I'd give it another shot, but I'm hesitant to spend more money on this personally. I still recommend it as a good beginner's ring, I just don't want to get burned again.
