This is overall a pretty decent pump, with some sub-parr sleeves. Its one of the better ones I have tried. It has room for improvement, but they are just little things.
Penis pumps are used to help draw blood into the penis by applying negative pressure. They are generally used just before intercourse. You lube up the penis this is to be used on, slide it inside the silicone sleeve, and start pumping. There are some concerns about proper use and safety with this, and we will get into those a little later on. This can be used by couples, or single guys. I do not believe this would be well suited for female self pleasure, though you might get it to partially work on your nipples.
The cylinder is made from hard plastic. There is no give at all to the cylinder. It is clear with some measurements etched on the side. The measurements are in CM, not inches. Not that the measurements do anything, I did not find them useful at all.
The handle is made from black ABS. The hose is made from clear vinyl. There is no smell or taste from any of the material. The hose is very flexible. The handle is pretty sturdy and feels like it can take some abuse.
The sleeves are made from TPR and silicone. The textured sleeve is made from TPR. It has nubbs on the inside and can be used as a masturbation sleeve when taken off of the pump. The extra suction sleeve is made from silicone. The textured sleeve is very flexible and soft. While the extra suction sleeve is stiff and firm. The extra suction sleeve has flaps on the inside hole (where you stick your penis through) from cutting the opening. They can hurt, bad. They remind me of my last pump. I had to cut the flaps off to make the pump comfortable during use and removal of my penis. I found that they hurt less if you have used excess lubrication.
The cylinder has a diameter of 2 1/2 inches and is about 8 inches tall. I have an average penis size, and this fit just fine. If you are one the large size, this might be too short for you. I think this toy can be used for travel, as there are no visible metal parts that can be detected on scanners.
This toy is not easy to hid. It is on the large size, with the tubing and pump handle attached. Even with just the cylinder, it still takes up quite a bit of room. Plus it is not flexible.
I liked the pump handle on this penis pump. It worked a lot better then the bulb pumps. It is easy to hold, even with lubed hands. I did find that the handle can turn on you with the tubing, making you have to fight to get the handle in the right direction to work in your hand. The tubing does not like to twist. To fix this, you need to turn the cylinder on your penis until the tubing is not pulling on the handle.
There are really no controls or functions on this pump. It has a in-line pressure release valve on the tubing. It is a push button that quickly releases the pressure in the pump.
This pump worked well. Just 5 pumps or so, and you had enough pressure that anymore and it would hurt. It holds the pressure without any loss. The only time I had it lose the pressure was when I stood up and walked around with it on. Then you would lose the pressure and it would come loose.
I did not find a reason why the sleeve had texture to it. Texture only works when you are rubbing against it. You do not thrust in a penis pump, so not sure why they would include it. And the extra suction sleeve is just too uncomfortable to use more then once or twice.
The silicone sleeve is easily removed for cleaning. The problem you will have is getting the tubing off of the barbed fitting at the top of the cylinder. This makes the pump difficult to keep clean. You need to take the tubing off to keep water out of the pump. Water will cause any metal parts to rust and cease working. (A problem I had with the last pump) So if and when you can get the tubing loose from the cylinder, you just rinse out the cylinder with some soap and water, pat dry with a towel and piece it all back together again.
This pump can be stored just about anywhere. It is pretty much all plastic, so storage is not a issue. I just keep mine in the bag it was shipped in. As it works to keep the dust off of the pump.
This came in a cardboard box with some pictures on the outside. There are a few pictures of the pump, along with info about each one of the different parts; and then there is a picture of a naked male using the pump. So it is not discreet at all. It works great for storage, as long as you are not worried about wondering eyes seeing it.
The textured sleeve is way too long, and the extra suction sleeve hurts when trying to take your penis out of the pump. Some better sleeves would make this pump top notch.
Now some safety notes. You need to discontinue use of the pump if pain occurs. Apply the minimum amount of vacuum pressure necessary to achieve an erection. Use of a vacuum pump may bruise or rupture the blood vessels either immediately below the surface of the skin or within the deep structures of the penis or scrotum resulting in hemorrhage and or the formation of a hematoma. Misuse of a pump may aggravate an existing medical condition such as Peyronies disease, priapism, and urethral strictures. Misuse of a vacuum pump could result in swelling of the penis and or serious permanent injury to the penis.
Follow-up commentaryI don't like it anymore3 months after original review
We have not really used this much. The sleeve and the ring just don't make it a enjoyable experience. I have had better rings come with much cheaper pumps.
The pump still works like it did one day one. I have had no problems with it, or getting water inside the pump and causing it to rust and stop working. The sleeves have held up nicely. The plastic chamber still looks brand new. IMO the pump is a nice one, just not the best sleeves and rings included with it; at least for me and my penis.
