When I originally saw this toy, my reaction was, "what the f*** is that?" At first sight, I didn’t understand what it was or how it was to be used! This device doesn't look like your average vibrating cock ring. It is a bulky toy, with a large circular ring and a wide bullet. Compared to other cock rings, it is massive in size, but not in power.

The California Exotics Gyration Sensations is a part of a new line full of these bizarre looking cock rings. The differences in each of the items in the line? I think just looks -- different textures and colors. This is the review for the Enhancer 4 – Black.

The toy is great for couples during intercourse (the circle part around his penis, and the bullet part on her clit). It could be a great massaging bullet for breast, clit, or other erogenous zones if you use the bullet out of the cock ring sleeve. This toy is good for those folks that like vibrating cock rings and don't need a lot of power.

Material: Silicone/Plastic
The body of the toy, which includes the cock ring and the sleeved bullet section, is silicone. Silicone has a safety rating of 10/10. It is semi-organic polymer and repels water. It is one of my favorite materials because of the safety rating and the ease of cleaning – it doesn't hang on to dirt and bacteria!

The silicone feels very nice and luxurious. It seems like high quality. There is a little drag, it is smooth and soft. The material is pretty flexible and can stretch when you put some effort into it! It is fairly thick silicone and rather hard.

The plastic material is the bullet itself and the remote controller. Plastic has a safety rating of 8/10. Plastic is non-porous and phthalate free. It is smooth to the touch and glides against the skin with ease. If you are just using the bullet than water, oil and silicone lubricants are all safe.

Neither the silicone or the plastic pieces had any odor out of the box.

There is a TON of texture in the main body portion! On the cock ring there are raised lines on the outside and eight flexible and bendable tips on the inside. On the massage sleeve there are raised bumps – seven lines of them on each side as well as raised lines. There is plenty of texture for those who enjoy it. The bullet itself, is smooth with no texture.

Personally, I felt the texture got in the way. I was very sensitive to it, and didn't enjoy the texture. It was too stiff and hard -- with too much going on! If you LOVE texture, you will enjoy this.

This toy sure does stand out in a crowd! Mainly because of the wild design! It is a cock ring and sleeve for a bullet all in one. The design and shape is a bit odd, but it worked out for the purpose.

The one problem I had with the design was that the bullet sleeve was very hard to get on the bullet. You insert the gyrating massager (bullet) into the sleeve by pushing it through a hole at the bottom. The problem with this is the hole is so small compared to the bulky bullet. I found to insert the bullet I had to peel the silicone portion back (like a banana) to fit the bullet in it. It was quite a difficult task! Honestly it took a lot of effort... in the end It fit like a glove...

Since the bullet is a separate piece, you can use this toy with or without the sleeve. I suggest using it without the sleeve first, then with the sleeve to see which you like best. Because it is soooooo hard to insert in the sleeve, you only will want to do it once, if necessary.

The cock ring center does stretch a little and the inner pieces do move up or down. My partner is average size in girth, and it fit snug, but not too tight. I would say this would work well on slender to average size penises.

The bullet itself is a hard plastic, it is hard and kind of looks like a fat microphone. It has a bulbous head and a more slender body. The cord and universal jack is attached to it. The bullet is to big and bulky in my opinion, it got in the way.

The controller is thin and small. It fits nicely in the palm of your hand. It is extremely easy to use and I wouldn't change the design of this part.

This toy requires 2 AA batteries that are not included. They insert easily into the slide out panel on the back of the handheld portion. Once you insert the batteries, and insert the universal jack attached to the cord and you are ready to go.

To start this toy up, there is a push button on the front. It lights up when it is on. There is a button on the backside, directly behind it to switch the 10 vibration settings. I like that you can turn the toy off when it is on any of the 10 functions. It doesn't have to be held down, just a quick tap on the on/off button. The 10 settings are of a pretty decent variety. The toy rotates through them, and then starts over. The 10 settings range from a vroom of 1-3, not that powerful.

The vibration settings can be felt in the bullet and the cock ring. The motor is only in the bullet. The bullet vibration without the sleeve is stronger than with the sleeve. The sleeve masks the power greatly.

Another great feature of the toy, besides the separate on/off switch is that the toy is smart! It has a memory chip which resumes to the last function. So the next time you turn it on, you don't have to rotate through all the functions to find your favorite, or try to remember which setting you liked best!

This toy is pretty hard to clean. Since there are so many bumps, lines and raised texture, it is a bit difficult to get all the nooks and crannies. You can wash it with the bullet inside it – and you have to be more careful around the cord. Or you can wash it after you take the bullet out. In this case, it is easier to wash since you don't have to worry about anything getting wet. You can scrub it as hard as you want, completely submerge it, and let it air dry. You can also fully sterilize it by boiling it for 3 minutes or by throwing it into the top rack of your dishwasher.

Lubricants to use on this toy: water based only.

The packaging is very bright and flashy. There are splashes of color all over the box, a large picture of the toy and it's parts and a quick description of the toy features. On the inside you will find a small instruction page on how to insert the batteries and what the toy functions are. Each piece of the toy is wrapped up separately in plastic. Included is: bullet with cord, controller, cock ring with bullet sleeve and a small instruction page.

My partner and I are undecided on this toy. There are some mixed feeling, so I decided to rate it a 4. It is not going to be my first choice for a vibrating cock ring, but it is one of his favorites so far. We have tried about 3-5 different kinds.

My partner says it is better than some of the other vibrating cock rings we've tried. He is of average size girth and said it doesn't pinch or hurt. It was not bothersome for him when he put it on, took it off, or during use. We used it on him in two positions – him on top and me on top. He liked the light pressure and tightness around the base of his penis and he likes using the controller to control the bullet as it rested on my clit. It wasn't big enough to stretch around his cock and balls together. He liked the little sensation he could feel from the motor in the bullet.

As for me, I wasn't too impressed with this. It was a little too hard with me on top. It pressed against me too abruptly and the texture wasn't my favorite. When he was on top it was a little better because it wasn't jabbing into me. Instead, he would rock it on my clit as he was inside me. Having him control the pressure on me was a lot better than me pressing up against it. I didn't feel it was strong enough for me, and I would have rather it have been smooth.
