I recommend this toy to couples that want to try out cock rings for the sake of the guy. It's a nice ring, I just feel that it provides the male with more stimulation than the female. The girl can get some out of this, but it's just not enough.
This cock ring can be used for solo play or partner play. You can put this on over your favorite dildo, or on your partner. The vibration from this ring's bullet are not extremely strong though. This is a fairly stretchy ring and fits fairly girthy dildos or men.
Here are the stats on it:
Unstretched diameter: 1 3/8"
Max stretched diameter: 2 1/2"
Material: Silicone
Battery type: 1 LR41
Removable bullet: Yes
Power switch: Push-button
Now onto the other goodies..
This ring is obviously silicone, and can be boiled for sterilization. It is easy to clean with soap and water, though I recommend removing the bullet first. It is extremely comfortable and stretchy and provides stimulation to both partners. I've used this on quite a few dildos too, it vibrates against the clitoris and it vibrates the shaft of the penis. The only problems I found is that if your partner doesn't shave, it can get caught on hair when you're trying to put it on or off. Also, it may not hit exactly on your clitoris so you'll have to maneuver it a bit. This is a fantastic couple toy because of the fact that it provides stimulation for both partners. It's also extremely travel friendly because it's small! But I find that it doesn't quite hit my clitoris at the angle I was hoping. I still need a little help to orgasm.
The Ophoria ring is made of Silicone. It has a slightly velvet texture to it, and is extremely smooth all the way around. This is completely non-porous. You should use only water-based lubricants with this to keep from damaging the toy. On the bullet cover there is a slight design which can create some friction for the clitoris but it is still relatively smooth. I personally felt that if it were a rougher texture it could've gotten me off better. I struggled to get enough friction on my clitoris to make this work properly. It is also difficult to position. Once in place, it stays in place. The ring is not very constricting and with the silicone being so stretchy it holds in place pretty well. It smells lightly like silicone always smells, but does not have a super strong odor. It has no taste at all. One of the reasons silicone is so popular, it also has a 10 on material safety. The ability to be boiled for sterilization makes this a hit.
This fits most guys, even going on into more girthy ones. It's not too restricting even when you stretch it to fit a bigger guy. It adjusts itself when you stretch it, however, if your partner doesn't shave it can be difficult to get on without pulling some pubic hair out. As mentioned earlier, there is a max stretch side, so if you happen to exceed that, you'll want to look for a larger cock ring. The idea and design behind this is a fabulous idea, my only complaint is the amount of struggle I had to get the bullet to hit my clitoris right. It's sort of frustrating. This could just be me, and perhaps it just didn't land right on me, but that combined with the lack of texture made it hard for me to orgasm. The bullet in this is not a ridiculous strong bullet, but it is removable so if you find a better bullet you can replace it. For the price, I'd say it wouldn't hurt to try. I have not bought a new bullet for it but have seen some websites that have replaceable bullets that are stronger than the one this one comes with.
The shape of this is pretty usual for cock rings as far as I know. It could be improved because I feel like the clitoral stimulator needs to be at a different angle to some how hit the clit better. I will say that even without giving me a ton of stimulation though, it provides fabulous stimulation for my guy regardless; I use it mostly for that reason now.
This vibrates on one function, it is a solid vibration. There is a button on the side that you click down on to turn it on and off. It doesn't have extremely strong vibrations, but does good for a bullet it's size. I was not extremely impressed but it's not very loud either, you wouldn't be able to hear it through a closed door. So in a way this is kind of a discreet ring. I've dealt with louder ones that had stronger vibrations. So I'm going to say on intensity of vibration, this is probably about a 2/5 for me. But being that the noise is only about a 1/5, you can understand why. The performance of this toy is again centered around it's design. It is supposed to provide clitoral stimulation when the male is inserted into the female. This can also work with solo play on dildos as I mentioned, however it's main failing is that the angle and smoothness don't hit the clitoris in such a way that orgasm is easy..in fact, it's just as difficult for me as it is without the ring. I need so much clitoral stimulation that this just doesn't cut it. I wouldn't throw this toy out though just because of this failing. I still feel like it provides good stimulation/vibration to the male wearing it, and therefore it is a bit fun because he gets excited. This runs off watch batteries essentially, which I listed the type earlier under Use. It lasts about 2 hours before the batteries die and need to be replaced (in my experience).
This silicone isn't a lint magnet like some of my toys are. So you can just store it in a box with your other toys no problem. It is all silicone, so you can sterilize it by boiling or by wiping it with a bleach solution to clean it, you can also wash it with soap and water after removing the bullet because the rest of it is waterproof. I'm not 100% certain that the bullet is waterproof. You'll want to use water-based lubricants with this because oil and silicone can damage the toy.
The packaging is shown on the display page for this toy. It's basically a box with the brand name, and the version of the toy. (V-ring) It is not overly "OMG THIS IS A SEX TOY" but I imagine anyone who knows anything about sex would be like "Hey, that's a dick ring yo."
Either way, you can use the packaging to store it if you'd like, but since it doesn't collect lint I'm not particular about keeping it in said package.
I rated this toy over all a 3/5. In order to get a 5/5 from me this would have to be redesigned a bit. The area that is supposed to hit the clit would have to be more angled and have a bumpy surface or have something to it to carry the vibrations better and to cause more friction. This should be something to help the girl get orgasm, and I don't feel that it adequately does that. The bullet needs to be more powerful, and it is slightly depressing that it only lasts for about 2 hours total, maybe less, before the batteries have hit the grave. In the end, I felt like while this could be used for solo play with a dildo or vibrator, it was best used with a partner because the male can get a bit more out of this than you will. Maybe I'm just shaped funny, but I really do think the clitoris area isn't angled for maximum pleasure on this toy.
I really like that this is a flexible ring because you can move the bullet to the top or bottom of the penis. On top it can provide clitoral stimulation for some positions, however, if you use it doggy-style, you can rotate the bullet to the bottom, and it gives him a vibration on his testicles and on your clit. I found that overall that was my favorite position for this. So don't get me wrong, this ring is not a total disaster nor is it worthless. I will be using it in the future, I just feel that there are some improvements that could be used to make this a 5/5.
Follow-up commentaryI don't like it anymore1 month after original review
Well, this thing stopped working. I later found out it's a one use ring, and I wasn't aware of that before. It probably said something about that somewhere, but I must've missed it. It never quite hit the right spots for me, and it ended up being thrown away once it stopped working. Eh, still searching for the cock ring of my dreams. I guess we'll see.

Midway through
Was frustrating, It's actually meant to be a one time use ring, but I guess I didn't use it long enough to kill the battery yet because it ended up not making me happy enough. So it still works after about 4 uses of trying to see if I could angle it better for myself.
