California Exotic Novelties’ “One Shot Masturbator” is a disposable single use male jelly masturbator. On the outside is a plastic can-shaped container similar to several other masturbators on the market. This is presented under a label which looks like it is from an 80’s romance novel, with naked oiled up triplets in a variety of poses.

However, under the covers is the main concern here, and oh what a concern it is. Popping off the top reveals a small liquid dropper which contains lubricant. This is held in place by a foam ring which appeared to be glued to the jelly sleeve. Given that the toy contains no instructions, the size and positioning of the foam cylinder in the can would suggest that it is part of the sleeve to be fucked. However, trying to do so would result in burning one’s penis because of friction with the foam.

In order to actually use the sleeve, the foam section needs to be removed. Yet due to the lack of instructions and the strength of the glue which attaches it to the jelly sleeve, one might have a difficult time figuring this out. Additionally, after removing the foam, there is about a one inch gap from the top of the can to the actual sleeve. This results in another problem of grinding your crotch against the plastic can after inserting your cock.

Lubing the sleeve with the provided dropper also proved to be difficult in addition to the lubricant not doing much more than water would have. I switched to using one of my own lubricants which ended up working quite well. However, the fact of the matter is that the One Shot does not provide enough pleasure. The only sensation I was able to feel was from the opening of the sleeve, which I had to pull out toward the edge of the can, and therefore it only really stimulated the base of my cock.

When it all comes down to it, the One Shot Masturbator’s convenience of being a disposable, one-time use toy is far outweighed by the inconvenience of trying to use the toy and actually receive pleasurable sensations from it. Even then, the little bit of pleasure it does deliver is not enough to justify not just using your hand.
