Very much like a concept car, form does not necessarily mean function.
I really wanted to love this toy. It has a great design and is very well made. Unfortunately, at least for me, is doesn't really perform as expect. Quite a shame.

Pros
Well-made. Innovative design.
Cons
Performs poorly.
I had such high hopes for the Cobra Libre. The first time I saw it I immediately wanted this toy. It looks amazing and it seems like such a great idea. Unfortunately some good ideas are just that, good ideas. Sometime things just don't translate from the drawing board to the finished product.
Before I go any further down this path, let me say a few things. I love Fun Factory. They make great products. Our Bimini Ocean remains one of Mrs. Peg's favorite vibes. And the Click ‘n' Charge system is a cool, innovative and elegant solution to plug-in chargers.
The Cobra Libre is extremely well-made. You immediately get a sense of that just by picking it up. It's hefty, solid and there are no loose or rattling parts. It is made from dual-toned high quality plastic which is fused to a soft and flexible silicone tunnel. There are two vibrating motors inside which are controlled by three touch sensitive buttons on top of the Cobra Libre. It is charged via the Click ‘n' Charge system which magnetically attaches to the logo's metal contacts. It is completely waterproof for cleaning, but not for play as submersion will mess with the functioning of the button controllers. There is really nothing wrong with the form of this toy. It is the function that I have problems with.
My first issue with this toy is that the Cobra Libre touts itself as a hands free toy. I wasn't able to figure out anyway to make this toy hands free except handing it over to Mrs. Peg. Along those lines, while holding the Cobra Libre in the most natural gripping position, I also found that I had a tendency to inadvertently touch the buttons which would change the settings. This is was not only distracting but also meant I had to go messing around with the buttons to find the best setting again.
My second problem with the Cobra Libre is the vibrations are in the wrong place. Instead of being transmitted inside the tunnel, they seemed to be more easily felt on the outside of the casing. I was hoping to feel them on the tip of my penis and along my frenulum. As it turns out, the vibrations were more defuse than I would have liked. The vibrations are quiet and moderately strong. While I am fully capable of getting off with vibrations alone, they need to be very strong (like Hitachi Magic Wand kind of strong). The Cobra Libre was nowhere near strong enough.
My third issue with the Cobra Libre is that the mouth of the tunnel has the downward turning lip. I found this to be rather uncomfortable during use. Even lube, this dragged against the shaft of my penis in an unpleasant way. I don't know if this has to do with the size or shape of my penis or if other men will have this same issue. For me, this really turned me off on this toy.
The tunnel of the Cobra Libre is about three inches long. You can thrust in it, but for me they are were really shallow and not particularly satisfying. Because the vibrations weren't very strong, I needed to finish with my hand. In all, I'd rather use something else that I know will get me off than play around with the frustrations caused by using the Cobra Libre. The best thing about this toy is, quite frankly, Eden Fantasys's liberal return policy.
