The Solo Slider 5x is a multifunction vibrating masturbation sleeve. It contains a removable bullet which has five different vibration settings. The bullet is semi-powerful and kind of rumbly, although the sleeve can be used without the bullet as well. Solo Slider has a ribbed internal texture, but because it is made of Cyberskin the texture is too soft to be pleasurable.
It is not very discreet or travel friendly. The controller does not have a locking function, so unless the battery is removed the bullet can turn on in your bag. The bullet is louder than a cell phone vibrating, so if you plan on using this with roommates I would turn on some music. Even without the bullet, the sleeve alone makes a very off putting slurping noise when it is lubed up. It is a complete turn-off.
This toy can be used for masturbation or for couples' play. It seems to be better suited to beginners since it is cheap and most likely a starter toy. This was my boyfriend's first sleeve ever, and he learned never to make the same mistake again. Save up for a Fleshlight or Tenga, something made of a safer material that is more durable.

Solo Slider is made of Cyberskin, which is soft and stretchy. Cyberskin is supposed to mimic real skin, it is a thermal plastic elastomer, a mixture of PVC and silicone. It is very porous, not able to be sanitized, and rates a 2 on Eden's safety scale. The sleeve has a strong plastic like odor, this lessens with continued washing, but never completely goes away. The sleeve has a soft internal ribbing, that spreads out during use.
The bullet and hand-held controller are made of ABS plastic and are metallic blue. With continued use, the metallic color chips off. The bullet is attached to the controller by a 24" cord. A 9V battery is used to power the bullet. Vibrations from the bullet due travel down the sleeve well, and are felt along the entirety of the sleeve since it is so soft.

The sleeve has a total length of 6" with a 2" maximum unstretched diameter. Stretched, the diameter goes to 3" and the length to about 7 1/2". The top one fourth of the sleeve houses the bullet, so it has a slimmer diameter. The slim diameter here is also supposed to grab the head of the penis for a tighter, more intense sensation. The bullet tends to slip out during use. My man's penis kept pushing the bullet out of the sleeve. Larger men will not be able to fit the sleeve over the entirety of their penis and get frustrated when trying to use this sleeve. My boyfriend couldn't thrust as freely as he hoped since he was looking to keep the bullet in the sleeve, which kind of ruined the experience. The design is somewhat flawed since the bullet can come out so easily. Large men will definitely have problems with the overall length of the sleeve.

Solo Slider 5x has five vibration patterns. The patterns are as follows: 1) Low pulse, 2) Medium pulse, 3) Rapid pulse, 4) Medium vibration, 5) High vibration. The controller has a silver heart shaped slider that goes through the patterns. It is easy to slide past an unwanted pattern quickly, also turning it off it simple. The strongest vibration can cause a numbing or a prickly sensation on the head of the penis. My boyfriend experienced this when he had the bullet on high for longer than 10-15 minutes. If the vibrations are on too long, the sleeve's sensations are decreased. These are soft enough to begin with, and it feels almost nonexistent after the bullet is on. Solo Slider also has a lot of drag, a great deal of lube is needed for a smooth experience. However, when the lubrication is adequate the sleeve makes a horrible slurping noise. It is like an endless cycle of disappointment with this thing.

The solo slider is a pretty high maintenance toy in terms of cleaning and storage. Wash the sleeve in warm water with antibacterial soap and rinse well, then let it air dry. If you plan on letting it dry inside out to dry out the ribbed texture, be careful. I tried flipping it inside out and got a tear in the sleeve, it is flimsy and tears easily. When cleaning the bullet, make sure to not get water in the space where the cord meets the controller.
The sleeve also picks up hair, lint, and fibers easily so keep it stored in a pouch or bag separately. It should be stored away from other toys anyway because Cyberskin can pick up dyes from other toys which would discolor it. It can also degrade from reacting to materials in other toys.
The solo slider should only be used with water based lubricants. Oil or petroleum compounds will damage the sleeve's surface.
