I love the idea of duel purpose toys, so I was excited when I discovered the triple stimulator a year or so ago. As someone who enjoys the swinging lifestyle with Hubby I can tell you I enjoy a little DP once in a while when the opportunity pops up and the idea of having a toy that can provide pleasure without the need for another appealed to me.

The Triple Stimulator comes complete with it's own silver bullet, which was my first ever sex toy many years ago and still one of my favorites, so this was a good start. When we fist looked at the Triple stimulator we figured that it was going to be an easy enough to operate, you simply place the bullet through a ring and then add your partners cock into the equation. The triple part of the toy comes into play in the form of an anal probe, which for some reason fascinated me at the time. There is a flexible ribbing system that runs the entire length of the pink probe which makes it easy to position the probe. Of course the proof of the pudding is always eating and I was more than ready to test out our new fun friend.

On first glance this looks like an easy to master toy, but like so many things that should be easy, we soon found out that a threeway with this toy was going to be easier said than done! The first problem we encountered was the cock ring. Hubby is uncut and although this does make cock rings more of a challenge he can generally get them on but not so with the triple stimulator. There just wasn't enough stretchiness in the jelly to allow for easy penetration. It took us almost half an hour of stretching to finally make it large enough and he's about average when it comes to size!

Our next problem we quickly discovered was going to be positioning. Hubby laid back and waited as I tried to get things into the correct order so to speak. The anal probe was a complete pain in the ass and yep I meant to use that pun! No matter what I tried I couldn't not get the thing in the right position and we tried for what seemed like an eternity. In the end we just gave up, partly because Hubby was getting sore from the cock ring. We did make good use of the silver bullet at this point but were disappointed that our fantasy threesome had become a twosome once more.

We've tried to use the Triple Stimulator on other occasions since then, both in different positions. Doggy and spooning and neither of these were a great success either. There are so many items that need to be in a specific position to make this toy work the way it was intended that for us it was just not worth the time and effort.

We have discovered that by taking the cock ring out of the equation and using just the anal probe or the bullet separately and they work pretty well. As an overall design the triple stimulator just didn't work for us.

The other downside of this toy for us, was it's made of jelly. I can see why as most other materials are not flexible enough to give the anal probe the ribbed effect and allow for easy positioning without breaking. The downside of jelly is it's porous which means that you should always use a condom during play, this adds a whole new dynamic to everything when trying to position the anal probe!
