The Package
This cock ring comes in a relatively small package. How small? The fine print on the back is nearly unreadable without having reading glasses or a different magnifying device. Which was rather surprising to me, since most of these toys have some kind of warning attached, and for it not to be readable seems somewhat reckless. The ring itself is displayed prominently through the clear plastic, and looks almost like a watch the way it's mounted in place.

The Cock Ring
The commander is rather large. In measuring the inner diameter I found it to be 1.5" across. Not really useful for the smaller gentlemen. It's also a gaudy hot pink color. I'm not really sure why a manufacturer would use such a thing, especially on a toy for men. Though it's not really a huge problem, since it's not like you are going to be wearing this on display in public...or at least I hope you aren't.

Size seems to be the biggest issue with this item. In general a cock ring is supposed to clamp down on the base, to prevent loss of erection. How this one does that, I'm not entirely sure, given how big it is on the inside. And I have rarely seen men hung enough so that this item would affect them. In short, if you aren't 1.5" across while erect, this item is little better than a hula hoop for your penis.

On a positive note, it's made of silicone, which means it's good about getting fluids on it and washing clean without retaining any nasties. Though I'd still recommend washing it before playing swap the sex toy. Another issue I found with this item was in putting it on, and having to be careful not to get any hairs near it, as it can pinch rather painfully if you aren't careful while putting it on.

Overall, I didn't find this one to have any real distinguishing qualities from any other cock ring I've come across. It's rather stiff and rigid, though not as bad as metal, and can be a hassle to put on if you aren't trimmed or shaved.

My experience with the toy was rather lackluster. I found that the best way to put it on is with lots of lube, so it can easily glide down your shaft. Rolling it down, like unrolling a condom, isn't as good an option, as this can lead to pinching and snarling with any hair you might have. (Definitely painful.)

My personal thought is that the Commander would have been better if he were about a half inch smaller, if not more.
