The Tenga is designed to be a travel toy. It is small and very discreet. If you're on the go a lot and need a companion, it might work out for you. However, if you're at home, I would personally opt for something a little less simplistic.

It's pretty simple and easy to use. Just drop some lube in it, wrap it over the head of your penis, and pull the stretchy material down over the shaft. Most of the stimulation is at the head because that is where most of the pressure ends up after you pull it down. The down point is that the head is the most sensitive spot and continual pressure takes away the experience from the other points on the shaft. Because of the design, there's really no way to use it hands-free, and attempting to do so will probably get very, very messy.

The Tenga Egg is made of a stretchy, silicone material. It is very soft and squishy to the touch. However, it is pretty weak, and I noticed stretch marks in the egg where the material lost elasticity after the very first use. A hole punctured in it after the third use. I suppose you could keep using it afterward if you don't mind it having an end, but I never really got any pleasure out of it in the first place, so I just tossed it.

I chose the silky texture, and in my opinion, it was far too small and fine. I could hardly feel the texture at all - to the point where it might as well have had none. I probably would have done better to go with the wavy or the other larger textures. There was a light odor, but nothing overpowering. I tried to wash it out with soap, but the odor was still there afterwards. I personally didn't really mind all that much.

This toy is extremely discreet. The outer shell is a hard plastic that is the same size and shape as a normal egg. The inside, the toy itself, is more or less a hollow, silicone egg. You could probably leave this out in the open and no one would know what it is. You could try painting it to make it look like an Easter egg, and no one would be the wiser. The toy itself is, again, the size of a normal egg, so it is pretty small. It can stretch a bit, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone over average.

The Tenga Egg is extremely easy to clean. Just wash it out with soap and water. You can easily turn the toy inside-out and be finished in a matter of seconds. Let it dry or pat it with a towel, stick it back in the shell, and you're good to go. As far as maintaining the material, it's probably not going to happen. Because of the design, almost all of the pressure ends up on a single spot on the egg, which will end up stretching and eventually breaking it. If you want to keep using it after that happens, you shouldn't have any problem.
