Pump Pieces

The black top that contains the motor is made of very sturdy heavy duty plastic. The clear cylinder is also made of plastic but not as heavy duty as the motor piece. The stretchy doughnut has a rubber feel to it, and the USB cord is just like any other USB cord that you already own. When opening the packaging, I did not detect any odors.

Pump Controls

You hold the power button for 2-3 seconds and the pump starts sucking immediately at the lowest of 3 settings. Technically there isn't a name for each setting, but I would label them as Intense, More Intense, and Astronomically Intense. This pump really sucks! Even on the highest setting, the pump is actually very quiet. I would not be able to hear it behind a closed door. Changing the suck setting is easy. Just tap the + or - button depending on which way you want to go. A really nice and important feature of the Automatic Penis Pump is the Quick Release. If the pressure becomes to intense and you need to stop to avoid injury or pain, you just press and hold the - button for 1-2 seconds. The sucking will stop and the pressure will be released for as long as you are pressing on the - button. Once you stop pressing the button, the pressure will remain steady until you press the + or - button to continue your play time.
Another feature included with this toy is the stretchy doughnut ring. The doughnut attaches to the open end of the tube. Its main purpose is to provide a seal between the cylinder and your pubic area. Apply a generous amount of water-based lube to the doughnut to ensure a tight fitting seal. Please note, that if you have a large amount of "bush" in this area, the seal may not work well. Go find yourself some hedge-trimmers and chop that hairy mess down!

The Automatic Penis Pump dismantles to make cleaning easy. Only the motor piece is not waterproof. Use a damp towel to wipe this piece off. The clear cylinder and doughnut are waterproof and can be cleaned with antibacterial soap and warm water or your favorite toy cleaner. It is best to leave the pump dismantled until completely dry. At that point, it is safe to reassemble and recharge.

The pump is rather large (11 1/2" H x 2 1/2" W), so it may be somewhat difficult to keep hidden from someone else's wondering eyes. However, it will stand upright without needing support. I store mine in my toy chest in the clear plastic bag that it came with.

There is an inner packaging that helps protect the doughnut. The rubber doughnut fits perfectly inside a clear plastic "shell" to help maintain its form when not in use. I think that this is an excellent idea.

My favorite feature of the Automatic Penis Pump is the measuring tool engraved on the sides of the clear cylinder. One side is inches while the other side is centimeters.
