The packaging was just strange. This is a "Diving Dolphin" cock ring, but there was a Jolly Roger on the packaging. This confused me greatly. Why the pirate theme? I still haven't exactly figured that one out, but with novelty items, who knows? The package wasn't luxurious, just a simple cardboard and plastic container. I saved it long enough to write this review, but it's ultimately headed to the recycling bin.

Here's what I like about the product: it came with six batteries. Very nice indeed since the vibrator only requires three batteries. I just love it when they include backups!

The cock ring itself is made of TPR, which is compatible with silicone and water-based lubes and can be cleaned with soap and water, but cannot be boiled. TPR is stretchy and pretty easy to use. Stretched, the ring measures 2.75 inches. While un-stretched, it measures 1.75 inches. This should accommodate most sizes. The dolphin is connected to the ring and measures 2.75 inches long. The tail and head of the dolphin stick out about an inch from the front of the ring.

The bullet is 2.5 inches long and a little over half an inch in diameter. There are several vibration settings: slow vibration, medium vibration, fast vibration, long pulses, low to fast vibration, low to fast pulses, and shorter graduating pulses. To turn the bullet off, you have to unscrew the bottom.

You have several different options for placing the bullet (there are several different holes in the cock ring through which the bullet can be inserted). You also have two options for "dolphin placement." If the dolphin is placed on the the top of the penis, it can act as a clit stimulator. Placed on the underside of the penis, it acts as a ball tickler.

The ring and dolphin are a dark gray color -- which I have no strong feelings for or against. Frankly, the dolphin looked like a sardine. When the bullet was engaged, the dolphin wiggled and vibrated in what looked to be both tantalizing and bizarre -- kind of like possessed sardine.

The TPR material made for a comfortable fit without the bullet inserted, but with the bullet, the cock ring was uncomfortable and cumbersome. This was very unfortunate because the bullet delivered impressively powerful vibrations. Had he been able to keep the cock ring on, I would have come like gangbusters. He ended up asking if I would be disappointed if he removed it, and while I was, in fact, disappointed, the last thing I want is for anyone to be less than comfortable during sex. Apparently, he was quite uncomfortable with the bullet inserted and was quite relieved to remove the entire apparatus.

Though I enjoyed this ring, he didn't and so, we won't be using it again. Though it didn't work for us, I think that all of the bullet placement options are a fantastic idea and might be suitable to other couples.

Since we didn't like this product from the beginning, it stayed in the toy box for a while and then we threw it away. It's a shame that it disappointed us the way it did.
