The Gear Essentials Tribal cock ring is one gorgeous piece of metal! It's smooth to the touch, and quite substantial in weight. If you're looking for a 'real' cock ring, this is it. It's expensive, but consider it an investment piece.

Pros
Heavy, sexy, hot
Cons
Expensive, heavy
This is not our first, or second, or even third cock ring. We have a few and they are generally flexible and black in varying widths. They do the job but are generally uninspiring (even though the Tantus silicone c-ring is pretty hot). So when we saw this extremely cool-looking stainless steel one we were quite intrigued. It seemed pricey but we went ahead and ordered it anyway. There are a few different patterns available from EdenFantasys, but we just picked the one that looked coolest to us.
The packaging is a round black tin the very cool Gear Essentials logo embossed in silver on the top. Picking up the box I was immediately surprised at its weight. I quickly realized this was not a cheap toy.
The box has foam padding on top and around the sides and the bottom to protect the ring. What this very solid ring needs protecting from is beyond me, because it seems indestructible. My guess is that the box needs protecting from the RING!
From the Gear Essentials ENGRAVED series, this is one beautiful piece. It’s made of brushed stainless steel. Brushed means it’s not shiny but has a dull sheen all around. If you look closely you can see very fine lines in the steel, though you can’t really feel them. The outside of the ring is engraved with what they call their Tribal pattern. The Tribal design is a criss-crossing set of double lines. The actual lines are not cut straight into the steel but are at a very slight angle, like a v-trough in super miniature. That may not seem important but it makes the pattern feel almost soft to the touch, despite the hard material.
The inside of the ring is curved from edge to edge making this a relatively smooth and comfortable ring to put on and wear. Our other rings are 1 ⅞” inside diameter. This one is available in 2” and 2 ⅛” diameter. We went with the 2” and it fits great. It’s almost heavy to hold and feels quite substantial at 8 ounces.
If you’ve never worn a cock ring before you need to know the trick to getting them on and off. First, the cock needs to be flaccid. If there is any erection going at all you are NOT getting this on. We first lube it up all around the inside of the ring. Because this ring is stainless steel you can use any lube you want to. (You don’t have to use lube, but it certainly makes getting it on and off easier.) Insert one ball, pulling it through, followed by the other. At this point you’ll have a rather snug fit and you still need to get the cock through. A soft cock is very flexible and can now be pushed down and through the ring. Pull it out the other side and there you go. With my man, this action alone will start to get him hard, so he finds it best to hurry! Once your erection has gone away you can slip it off in the reverse order to which you put it on. Push the cock through and then carefully slide the balls back out one at time. Clean with warm soapy water.
You could wear this at home, or out, though it will definitely increase the bulge in your pants as it’s pushing everything forward. I love the way it looks when it's on -- it puts his whole "package" front and center. It's very, VERY sexy. I asked him how it felt to wear and here's what he said:
“It makes me feel very manly and tough. This is a substantial weight and makes my balls look (and feel) very prominent, in a good way.” He also said that masturbation was somewhat enhanced by the ring as it helps keep the penis erect and the balls nice and tight. I'm sure he's looking forward to wearing this out to a special party where his cock will get some nice extra attention from this very sexy cock jewelry.

This is still gorgeous, and gets lots of use. It is indestructible, so of course it still looks like new!

Loving the review, sadly it's too expensive for my taste.

Great review. It's definitely too expensive for me to buy and now I'm really wishing I had put it on my gift registry. Nonetheless, it looks like a great product.
