Pros
Great 100% silicone product that does just what it claims.
Cons
Maybe more colors? Really nothing for me though.
Ahhh... My first Tantus toy made specifically for males. The brand that has been leading the way in safety, innovation, and ingenuity has finally released a series of toys JUST for the boys. They have been providing P-spot stimulators, but it’s not like women can’t use them. So sorry ladies, while you can receive plenty of pleasure while your partner uses this toy, I can’t think of a single way a woman could use one solo. (Not trying to hurt feelings, it’s just that us guys get left out of the toy market percentage wise.)
The Tantus Advanced silicone C-ring is nothing fancy. It’s everything you need and nothing you don’t. A solid 1 3/4” ring of silicone, which is made to fit one or both the balls and penis. I went with black because it goes with everything, and even better with nothing. Now to start off I have three other rings in this size by Gear Essentials. Going in to this assignment I knew this ring would be a perfect fit, so long as it was true to the dimensions listed.
This ring arrived in a rather simple blister style package with no graphic splashes, just fonts in different texts telling you who made it. “Tantus: the science of sensation, non toxic healthy for the body” and so on. Anyone not familiar with Tantus, their quality control and use of 100% Ultra-Premium silicone, owes it to themselves to learn a bit about the company. As a side note, the package also touts the product as being manufactured 100% green.
So with a little lube, and a long hot shower, I decided to give this toy a solo run. If you’re unfamiliar with how to put one of these on, the package includes handy instructions. Nothing complicated, but it does require a bit of delicacy. Step 1: lube the inside of the ring. Step 2: gently pull the testicles through one at a time. Step 3: slide the penis through, and you’re ready to get hard. (You must be soft to place this ring on, so you may have to figure out where that fits into your foreplay and sex routine.) The ring fit me perfect, and my solo session was a blast, literally. At the end I came extremely hard, and for an extended amount of time, it felt amazing. The ring being made of silicone is also latex safe, but not recommended for use with silicone lubes.
Now the types of rings I have used in the past have been either stainless steel or super squishy Senso material. This ring seems to find a happy medium between the two. Steel obviously has no give at all, and Senso is very soft and has lots of give. The Tantus advanced C-ring has a slight amount of give, and enough presence to know it’s on.
I like to wear fitted rings around when I’m soft. I wear them out to do errands and sometimes clubs. This didn’t quite compare to metal in that area, that's just my personal preference though. Nothing against the Tantus ring, I just feel sexier with a band of solid steel between my legs than a band of silicone.
It’s pure silicone so you can boil, bleach, and wash, with antibacterial soap. This ring is 100% steralizable, so it can be used with multiple partners or shared. One note about the sizing, these rings come in three sizes advanced, intermediate, and beginner. Don't let these terms fool you, it’s important to measure and find out your proper size. Having a lot of experience with metal rings I can’t stress enough how important it is not to get the wrong size.
