It is pretty obvious how this toy is used. As my boyfriend so eloquently put it, "you stick your dick in it." It is great for solo play. However, we really enjoy using it as a couple. Since I can rarely ever manage to give a successful handjob because either my arm gives out or I'm not doing it exactly to his standard, this toy has been somewhat of a blessing. My arm doesn't get tired and a can even use both hands ("dual wield," as I call it) if I feel the need to. The only problem we ever have is that it can sometimes overstimulate him and he gets "all tickly." It just takes some practice to be a good judge of toe curling to know when to slow down or stop.

The Tenga Flip Hole has a TPR silicone inside and a plastic casing. The TPR silicone is soft, flexible, and has a slightly sticky/greasy feel to it. Nothing unpleasant, though, especially given that lube makes it slick. As for texture, there are a ton of nubs, ridges, and crevices for your penis to explore and enjoy. It does have an odd smell to it that doesn't seem like it will ever go away. I can best describe it as a strong plastic and rubber smell. Generally just chemically. But other than that, it is a great material that is very pleasant.

I love the design of the Tenga Flip Hole. It opens like a clamshell for lubing and cleaning and is held in place with a plastic piece that slides over tracks on the sides. The piece goes on both ways, too. It covers the hole when not in use, but you can flip it over to hold the toy together while using it. The plastic piece ALSO doubles as a stand for drying. This I like less, but I can appreciate that they were trying to make it a more compact design with fewer pieces. The problem is that it is fairly difficult to balance the main piece on top of the stand and it gives the sense of security that the leaning tower or Jenga allows. As for size, it is fairly bulky, but should not be a problem for most. As I mentioned before, you can use both hands, so if one hand can't hold it properly, two should be able to. Because of its size, it is not very discreet or easy to hide. The best place we've found so far is up in a closet. I don't think the TSA would like this thing very much, but it would be good for traveling on the ground as long as you don't need the extra space.

Surprisingly enough, the Tenga Flip Hole does have a few functions. There are three buttons on the front of the device. The button near the top of the device (top being where the tip of the penis goes) is good for putting more pressure on the head of the penis. The middle button is for overall suction. The bottom button is still kind of a mystery to me, as I don't know what it does. The buttons can also help quiet this thing a little. That brings me to my next point. This thing can be really loud! It makes a slurpy suction sound that can pretty easily be heard outside of a closed door. It is quieter if you are careful with it, but it is a downer to not be able to just go at it if sound is a problem. We have not used it in the water, but I'm sure it would do wonderfully in a shower since it is mostly closed up other than the insertion hole.

This is my biggest problem with this toy, the cleaning. Of course male toys can get a little messier than female toys, but that doesn't make it any less annoying. It is a closed device while being used, so ejaculate stays in the toy for the most part. But what goes in must come out if you want to be hygienic. It is easier to clean than a fleshlight because it opens up. I use antibacterial soap and water and use my fingers to really get down into the one trillion crevices, but my boyfriend does a much less thorough job of cleaning, unfortunately. After cleaning, it is necessary to let it air dry on the stand. This poses another problem because if you live with other people, it isn't usually a good idea to leave something out for hours in an open place. He usually puts it up before it is completely dry (which makes me go into a fit of rage because this thing was expensive) but WARNING: this could potentially ruin the device with mold/mildew and a horrible stench. Just let it dry! Maybe a blowdryer on cool could help with this process. As for lubes, any water based lube will do. It comes with three tiny tubes of it, but he prefers Jo H20.
