This toy is really straight forward and simple to use. Just remove the lid, add a water-based lube to the opening, and then start stroking until you just can't anymore. This handheld device is used to stimulate the penis, and to be manipulated by hand, or by the hand of your girlfriend. The Fleshlight Alien can be used at any time at any place -- that someone would masturbate, that is.

This would be perfect for advanced users, for the simple fact that texture would make a beginner go insane! All joking aside though, a beginner would enjoy this toy as much, if not more, than an advanced user would. If we're talking about just simplicity, then beginners... this is right up your alley. This toy is ridiculously easy to use, and with that being said, all should enjoy this toy.

The Fleshlight Alien had no smell or taste upon opening. The insert is made of a patent backed material called Superskin, and the case is made of hard ABS plastic. Superskin is a food-grade, hypoallergenic, phthalate free material. It's not made from silicone or latex; it is made to mimic real skin. Superskin retains heat very well. Just run it under a warm tap, or soak it in warm water for a few mins prior to use to give it an even more lifelike feeling. Also, only water-based lubes should be used with any fleshlight.

The Alien comes in a nice pearlescent blue case, with a blue/teal colored insert -- unlike most Fleshlights. The feeling of this insert is super squishy and smooth, and the inner texture is one of my personal favorites. The inner texture is a combination of 3 of Fleshlight's bestsellers. The vortex, lotus, and STU textures. The alien starts off with the intense vortex texture for the first 2 1/2 inches, which then tightens to a lotus node for about an inch, and finishes with the extremely intense STU (Stamina Training Unit) texture for the remaining 6 inches of the sleeve.

The texture, I think, would be more towards the advanced users as it can be pretty intense. Still, I'm sure beginners would love it as well.

I was surprised at how much bigger the original fleshlight size was compared to the Flight and Sukit Draft that I already own. With that said, I think this would be great for average to larger guys.

The Alien has an incredible orifice design of an Na'vi alien pussy from Avatar with two clitorises. After being a bit spoiled with the other designs of fleshlights, I would have to say there's room for improvement. I found the design to be quite bulky and non-discreet. At first glance, I don't think anyone would mistake it for a flashlight. Rather than it trying blend in, it inadvertently stands out among my other belongings. The Alien is pretty difficult to hide I am finding out, and I don't think that this would be suitable for travel -- considering its size. I'm not saying you can't travel with it, but I wouldn't.

The alien's functioning rear suction cap worked okay. It doesn't create as much suction as my other Fleshlights, which was a letdown.

Cleanup is quite easy and simple. When finished with the alien, just rinse it with only warm water. You can also use some isopropyl alcohol for a more thorough cleaning. The use of soap is not recommended, as it may damage the superskin material. After a few uses, it may become a bit sticky. No problem there, just add 100% cornstarch to the material and it will become just like new. Then, just let it all air dry. The inner textures sophisticated design may take a bit longer to air dry than other Fleshlights. So, keep that in mind, and always remember that Fleshlights can only be used with water-based lubes.

The packaging was a cardboard box, measuring 4in. x 4in. x 10in. It had a hanger on top, and a peep window in the front, showing the alien inside. Inside was a sample of Fleshlube, and a care pamphlet with info on other Fleshlight products. I wouldn't use the box as a storage box, as the alien is pretty well contained with its caps.
