It has a nubbed texture on the vibrating portion and is ribbed on the underside where the upper side of your shaft would be. Neither of those features had any real effect while in use. It does stretch to accommodate everyone, but that kind of takes away from it's function as a penis ring. I find that there wasn't enough constriction to maintain my erection after orgasm like other cock rings do. While it does vibrate, it can be a little awkward trying to get the vibrations to have any affect on your partner.
