A somewhat intermediate-level cock-ring, the Stud Lasso is a sturdy, silicone solution with an adjustable band and powerful, bullet vibe. It has enough give and flexibility to make it not feel rigid on his sensitive areas, but is solid enough to perform extremely well, as it should.

In short, it's made of fairly typical silicone, but in a good way. It has a very matte finish that doesn't seem porous but has a smooth, unassuming texture. Odorless, fairly soft, and fairly stretchy, as you might expect. It's not tacky, but at the same time it has the odd ability to attract lots of dead skin. I found myself having to give it a good bath (sans bullet) every time I used it to take care of this. The bullet itself is hard, smooth plastic, which serves to make it perfect for the job as it sits snugly inside its holder, and is fairly easy to handle and clean.

The "lasso" feature is a simple length of silicone that is threaded through a tight squarish hole on the back of the vibe's holster. This allows it to be adjusted conveniently, although it may take a bit of tugging to get it to budge. It holds onto the lasso tightly, so there is no fear of it slipping off onto the floor during a passionate session with a partner. It has enough length to accommodate males of virtually every size. The only downfall to this arrangement is that the shape on the inside of the ring is basically a tear-drop shape, whereas most rings are ideally circular, making it a bit tricky to fit the band effectively. However, again, it is readily adjustable so this is a relatively minor issue.

On the side opposite to the "tying" side, an array of short, nubby stubs give an interesting twist on this toy, allowing it to be oriented in a number of ways and opening many possibilities for stimulation. As opposed to a typical vibrator's sort of "rubbing" type of stimulation, when these nubs are placed against the underside of the scrotum or faced towards the base of the shaft, they create an electrifying sensual tickle. Personally, I found it started to irritate and scratch my skin after about 20 minutes, but your mileage may vary. As a suggestion, you could lubricate this part to prevent irritation and discomfort.

The vibrator is a typical watch-battery powered model, with a convenient hexagonal base to make it easier to remove it for replacing batteries. The battery area seems to be a bit too large to fit the supplied batteries, which makes it a bit irritating to insert them. The required orientation of the batteries doesn't seem to be clearly marked but is actually on a plastic sleeve inside the barrel, which is also supposed to (I assume) help the batteries stay in place. The batteries inside were already corroded and leaking when I received the toy, but thankfully it came with a fresh set of replacements. Again, your mileage may vary here.

As far as functionality, this does the job incredibly well. It's a bit loud but has a "WHOA" intensity factor. This, coupled with 10 varying intensities and patterns of vibration, make it well-suited. With a single, fairly large, rubberized button to change modes, it's fairly easy to manipulate on the fly.

Since it's made out of silicone, you should be able to boil it (again, without the vibe) if you really desire. Mild soap or detergent and warm water will suffice. However, you could even try putting lube on the outside of the holster itself to prevent a lot of friction and buildup from skin, thus making it easier to clean.

It comes in very simple and easily opened packaging, as it should! It has a fold-open style hard, plastic outer case, which snaps together at the top and with a paper insert for the information and graphics. No scissors or frustration required. It also does a good job of holding the extra batteries and the lasso, itself, in place, so you shouldn't have to worry about pieces flying everywhere when you pull it open. Typically I don't store toys in the original packaging, but this packaging would be decent for that purpose if you desire, especially for keeping track of those pesky batteries.
