The Running Bull is made from two different materials. The ring is made from TPR while the removable bullet is made from plastic. The TPR that the ring is made from rates a 7 on EdenFantasys' safety scale. It is somewhat porous and cannot be completely sanitized. However, the TPR is still hypo-allergenic, latex and phthalate free. The bullet's plastic material rates an 8 on EdenFantasys' safety scale. It is non-porous and phthalate-free. The TPR ring is a very stretchy material. This allows for a variety of different sized individuals to be able to use this cock ring. The Running Bull is stylized to look like a bull ring. On the ring there are two half inch 'horns' that stick out from the ring. When the bullet is in place and vibrating, these will wiggle and provide added stimulation to either the clitoris or perineum area of your partner, depending on how you are wearing the ring. Overall the ring itself is about 3/4 of an inch thick with the 1/2 inch horns sticking out from it. The bullet that comes with the Running Bull is about 2.75 inches long. Compared to the EdenFantasys' cock ring, the Running Bull seems to be more bulky than the Eden ring, although having a similar diameter. Also, the bullet of the Running Bull is much more bulky than the bullet that comes with the Eden ring. The batteries in the Running Bull can be changed out and it can be re-used time and time again, whereas the Eden ring is more of a one-time use, disposable ring.

The bullet included with the Running Bull is powered by three LR44 watch batteries. Thankfully, these were included. The bullet is waterproof, and has seven functions. The functions are three steady vibrations: low, medium, and high. There are also four different patterned vibrations. I find that the bullet is pretty powerful, and whisper quiet. I find this an attractive quality in a vibrating cock ring. I am not distracted by a loud buzzing noise coming from my partner's loins. To turn the bullet on and off, there is a small button on the base of the bullet. Pressing it down will turn it on. Pressing it again will change it to a different vibration setting. Holding down the button will turn it off. It is very easy to operate when the bullet is in place and the ring is around the penis. I do suggest using a tiny bit of lube for placing the bullet in the ring, as it will make it easier slide it into place. Again, with the materials that the Running Bull are made out of, you are free to use either water-based or silicone-based lube.

When it comes to cleaning the Running Bull, you have different options for the different components of the set. The plastic bullet is waterproof, so you can run it under some warm water and wash with anti-bacterial soap. You could also wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol. The TPR can only be washed with warm water and soap, or you could use your favorite toy cleaner. You cannot boil the TPR to disinfect it. Both the bullet and the ring are compatible with either water-based or silicone based lubes, so you are free to use whatever suits your fancy. Due to the soft nature of TPR, I generally like to store it separate from any other toys I own for fear of any melting together.

The Running Bull came in a cardboard and plastic blister pack. It had a red and black design on it, with the Cross Bones and Zero Tolerance names on it. It also had the phrase "arm your manhood." My partner found this very amusing. I was very pleased that the back of the package had illustrations on it. It showed the different ways in which you could configure the bullets as well as what kind of stimulation that set up was best for. This packaging was far from discreet. As all my EdenFantasys orders come, this one was shipped inside of a plain cardboard box. Nosey neighbors and mailmen were none the wiser as to its contents. The packaging was minimal and not something that I will keep on hand for storage after use.
