This cock ring is not meant to be used as an erectile aid - it is a novelty toy that is intended for only stimulation purposes.

The ring portion of the Gossip Ring is made of TPR. TPR, or thermoplasticized rubber, is a body safe rubber that's made without harmful pthalates. It's somewhat stretchy, and easy to clean with soap and water or with toy cleaner. The ring is particularly easy to clean when you remove the bullet vibrator, which is easy to do.

I found that the Gossip Ring is not as stretchy as I'd hoped, and the seam was definitely a weak point, as I'll address in a minute.

The vibrator surface is made of plastic, and ours was a sparkly purple to match the purple Gossip Ring we chose. The rubber flower carries the vibrations well, and the majority of the bullet fits inside the ring, leaving no large unexposed parts.

The vibrating bullet included with the Gossip Ring has an on/off switch located on one end that's easy to find, and the vibrations are typical for a tiny bullet - buzzy and strong. They are far too strong to use with direct contact, in my opinion, but inside the ring, the vibrations diffuse nicely into the flower portion. When I turned the ring on and used it as a finger vibe, it was a nice sensation on my clit. However, it definitely wasn't strong enough to make me orgasm. This may be because I prefer rumbly vibes that have a larger surface area, but I'm not sure. At any rate, if I'd been able to use it during intercourse with my husband, it likely would have been more stimulating.

The Gossip Ring is extremely easy to take care of, and it works with both silicone and water-based lubes. To clean, remove the vibrating bullet and clean separately. I would recommend sink washing with soap and water, as this is the best way to be sure that all the nooks and crannies of the flower portion get cleaned. It can pick up lint and hair because of the material, so storing it away from dust and such is a good idea. The small tube that it comes in is ideal to use as storage - it can be used for several such small toys easily.

The vibrator is not water-tight enough to withstand immersion, I believe, so that should be cleaned separately using toy cleaner or small amounts of soap and water.

I really liked the packaging on the Gossip Ring - it was presented in a tube with a removable top. The instructions were stored in the bottom of the tube, and they were nice and clear. However, nowhere does it state that you have to remove a small piece of paper on the battery connection before it can be used - we figured it out with trial and error when it didn't turn on at first.

The clear plastic tube is nice to keep the ring in long-term, and it's big enough that it could fit a few more cock rings or tiny vibes, but not so big that it wouldn't fit in a toy chest or similar.

In the packaging, it does mention a 30-day warranty, which I'm going to look into and include information on in my follow-up review.

Like I said - I'm sure it would have been fun, but to have the toy break before we even got to use it was a huge bummer. My husband was really disappointed, and we had to get out a different cock ring to use since he'd been looking forward to it so much. We did discover that the bullet fits nicely in our other cock ring (it's a dual vibe ring), so it'll likely get plenty of use. But as far as the ring is concerned, I really don't feel it's the best choice if you're looking for something that can be specifically used during sex and will be sure to accommodate any size.
