Jack Master: Masturbator In Disguise
The Travel-Sized Jack Master is an enjoyable toy with a latch that allows both sides to open for easy cleaning. It feels great but not like the real thing. Unfortunately, it's pretty loud during use, and I'm not sure that the clasp will hold up to heavy use.

Pros
Feels good, easy to clean, control the pressure, attractive case.
Cons
Loud, clasp might break.
The Travel JackMaster Style A is a pretty good toy. Honestly, it looks like a more affordable version of the Tenga Fliphole, but it actually does hold its weight when it's compared to a more expensive masturbator.
The JackMaster case is made out of plastic and the inside sleeve is made from TPR. The plastic casing covers almost all of the TPR except for on the both sides where it opens up with plastic "holds" to allow you to grip and change the pressure of the material during use. The TPR is phthalates-free and hypoallergenic. It also includes a plastic cap that just sits on the top. (It honestly just sits, so if the male masturbator tips sideways, don't expect it to stay on. It's only to keep the dirt and dust from the inside.) It's six inches long and three inches in diameter, and from what I can tell, it will fit most men's sizes. It's only six inches long, though, so it may possibly be a little short in that department.
The packaging is pretty undiscreet. It's the "Premium Self-Contained Masturbator" and it was "Just Voted #1 Masturbator" by the American Pumpers Association. (I want to meet this group. Honest, I do. What are their meetings about?) It just displays the masturbator itself as well as the inside of the masturbator on one side.
Each side of the masturbator includes different textures. One side just has ridges that vary in width throughtout the entire side and some tinglers, and the other side has ridges, but they go in towards the center and out towards the outside in waves for added texture. The end of the masturbator is covered with the gel as well, so if you push too far, it shouldn't hurt too much. It also looks like it would be quite possible to pull the sleeve itself out of the plastic case in case you wanted more possibilities for cleaning.
Use of the masturbator works just like any other masturbator. You need to lubricate yourself as well as slide lubricant into the tunnel of the toy itself. After that, you slide yourself in and it's just used like a regular masturbation toy. The neat thing about this one is that you can push in the sides to accentuate where you want the pressure the most.
You will want to make sure you don't get too much lubricant on your hands while attempting to use this. While the plastic does offer some texture so your hands won't slip, it doesn't offer much and if your hands are coated in lubricant, they will slide around on the outside plastic.
This toy is also pretty loud during use. It's very, very easy to hear and probably quite easy to hear through a door during use. It sounds like the pressure being sucked into and pulled out of the toy during each stroke. For that reason, it's probably not a good toy if you require your toys to be discreet.
The boyfriend says that it feels pretty good for him. He says it doesn't feel like the real thing, but he did enjoy it more than the "Sex In a Can" one that we've used in the past. He says that the texture feels very enjoyable and that he could feel all of the texture on the inside. It feels especially good on the out-stroke since the suction will pull against the tip of the penis.
Because it opens up with the clasp on a hinge, the two pieces come apart for easy cleaning. The latch doesn't seem like the strongest thing in the world, and while it hasn't broken for us yet, I think it might if it faced consistent use in the future. It did stay closed just fine during use though. My boyfriend says that he thinks that, if someone were to be rough, it may come apart during use.
I recommend just running warm water through the two pieces to clean it. Because it is porous, just keep the toy to yourself, and if you have to share, use condoms when each person uses it. Because it's made of TPR, feel free to use silicone-based or water-based lubricant.
Overall, I recommend this masturbator to anyone who is looking for a different feel during their masturbation sessions. It's unique feeling, and it definitely feels different than using a hand.

Experience
Jor's serious recommendation is: "If I didn't have sex on a regular basis, this is a toy that I'd really enjoy for masturbation." He also was really pleased with the shape, thought it was a masculine toy, and loved that the gel was plastic so he could see inside of it during use.
Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
It's still not a bad toy. Despite multiple uses, we haven't had the latch break on our Travel Jack Master like some other reviewers have, but maybe we're just not very rough with it either.
It's just more that it never gets pulled out anymore. The boyfriend just doesn't see the point in using something like this since he says it just takes too much effort. I'm working on changing his mind, but for the most part, the masturbator just doesn't come out much anymore.
It's stayed really nice since we've taken extra time to make sure to clean it, and honestly, it looks about the same as the first day we received it. I'd say that the only change is that the latch *does* seem a little bit looser, but nothing we've really noticed much. With more repeated use though, we may end up finding it breaking.

I love the blue! Great review, as always

I was trying to decide if I should review the masturbator I got for the boyfriend but I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get enough out of him to complete a review. He said he'd help but he totally wasn't into writing the whole review and I didn't want it to be too biased with my opinion, reading yours I think I might be able to manage it though. Thanks for the review

I'm wondering about the "American Pumpers Association" too. Al Bloom, Director of Marketing at California Exotic Novelties, which mentions this "organization" is currently being interviewed on this site. I've just asked him to tell us more about the Pumpers Association - I hope he answers the question!
