I don't know if it'll turn you into a porn star, but it will pump you up.

The James Deen penis pump did just what it was suppose to do, applied vacuum to my cock and pumped it up nice and thick. Coupled with a good cock ring the pump produced nice hard useble erections. The lack of instructions is not a good thing for first time users such as myself.

Use

The James Deen penis pump is pretty self-explanatory, it's meant to pump your penis up hopefully to a big erection. Anyone who has a penis and wants to see how big they can get it should give a pump a try. The James Deen pump is as it advertises ease to use with one hand; once you have some vacuum applied the cylinder stays on by it's self and the pumping device is easy to operate with one hand, but this is a large pump and I'd recommend hanging onto it while it's on your cock. As far as stimulation goes I didn't experience anything except a warming sensation and the feeling of a constant vacuum on my cock.

Material / Texture

The James Deen pump is built very solid with a heavy clear plastic cylinder, a very soft TPR seal cup, and a sturdy plastic pump and good quality vacuum gauge in case you want to know how much vacum your cock can handle.
    • Flexible
    • No odor
    • Somewhat porous

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

The design of the James Deen pump is pretty straight forward, a cylinder, vacuum gauge, pump, and soft cup seal on the end to seal around your cock. This being my first time to use a pump I can't compare it to anything else, but I will say that my cock is about five inches long and an inch and a half thick when it's flacid and about eight and a half inces long and two inches thick when hard and I had plenty of room to get thicker when I was full pumped but my cock reached the top mark on the length gauge on the side of the cylinder which was twenty CC. This meant that my normal erection was bumping the top of the cylinder. The cylider diameter inside is two and a quarter inches and the entry hole in the seal cup is one inch in diameter. The pump sealed around my cock nicely, but the first time I used it I had too much lube on the seal which is very soft and flexible, and it actually sucked my cock and my balls into the cylinder which was a little painful. This only happened once. I'm sure the pump will accomodate most cocks when it comes to thickness, but is limited to eight inches in length which I found to be a little short for me. This pump is fairly large in it's entirety and pose a challenge when it comes to storage unless you have a large cabinet.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The James Deen pump does exactly what it's suppose to, it seals around your cock and applies vacuum to pull blood into it to make it erect and full. The seal cup is soft and sealed well around the base of my cock. The pumping device is easy to use with one hand and operates very smoothly. The vacuum gauge measures the vacuum you apply, even though I'm still not sure why anyone would care how much vacuum they had on their cocks. I do wish the cylinder was about two inches longer so I could see if my hard cock would get any longer under the vacuum, but it did make my cock thick and the head got very big. The box and the on-line info don't say anything about being waterproof so I don't think I'd try it under water.
    • Could be longer
    • Easy to use
    • Not very stimulating

Care and Maintenance

There are no instruction for use and care of the James Deen pump so I just washed it under warm water; trying not to get water in the pump on top, and removed and washed the seal cup by itself and dried everything completely. The seal cup is made of TPR which is semi-porous so if you intend on sharing your pump with a friend make sure to clean it well, because I don't believe it would be advisable to use a condom in the pump. Be sure to use water base lubes only.
    • Difficult to store
    • Easy assembly
    • Easy to clean

Personal comments

The lack of instructions was a real problem for me. I wasn't sure if I should use lube with the pump or if it would damage the pump. Siple instructions like lightly lube the seal and the head of your cock would have been very helpful and made this experience more pleasurable for me and other first time users. I'm still not sure if I'm cleaning it right so I do my best not to get water into the pumping device.

Experience

As I said earlier I have never used a penis pump before so this was a new experience for me. When I got the James Deen pump I opened the box and removed the pump and found on instructions in or on the box on how to use it. Assembly was pretty self explanatory, just attach the pump handle and hose to the cylinder. After assembling the pump everything else was experimentation on my part. On my first attempt I placed my cock head against the opening in the seal and started to pump. The pump quickly pulled my cock into the cylinder but my cock head stuck to the side and the more I pummped the more my cock rolled up. I knew this wasn't right so I stopped and headed for the computer hoping someone gave usage hints for penis pumps. I quickly found what I was looking for and it was just as I thought, I need to lube my cock and the seal. I lubed the seal opening heavily and lubed my cock and went for try number two. This time my cock suck right in and went right up the cylinder, but as I pressed the seal agianst the base of my cock and continued to pump there was too much lube and the pump sucked not only my cock but also my balls into the cylinder which was slightly painful. So I quickly pressed the vacuum release and removed the pump, cleaned it and my cock, applied a small amount of lube to the seal and the head of my cock only and went for try number three. This time the pump pulled my cock in smoothly and sealed around the base nicely so I continued to pump slowly. After about six pumps my cock was very thick, very red, and veins bulging everywhere. The thickness looked great but the head of my cock was pressed hard against the cylinder end so I real didn't know If it made my hard-on any longer seeing as the cylider was only eight inches long and my normal hardon is about eight and a half inches long. I left the pump on my cock for awhile but the vacuum stared to get uncomfortable so I slowly released the vacuum and my hardon slowly receeded and didn't stay hard which was disappointing. I did try the pump with a cock ring and it did hold my hardon for awhile and looked pretty thick and impressive out of the pump.
Follow-up commentary
Yes I still use the James Deen pump. I've come to enjoy the feeling of my cock being pumped up to it's thickest and the feeling of the pressure while pumping. I use it a couple of times a week and if I ever see any noticable increase in size I'll report it in here. I don't expect any increase in length because the head of my cock hits the end by the time I'm fully pumped, but I'll keep an eye on the girth and see if it increasses any.
