I can't hold on!
The Adzumi Acorn is inexpensive, but its design makes using it difficult. It has a tight feel, and an interesting texture. Tight fit means a firm grip is necessary, though. The short, open-ended design makes the escape of lube onto the outside of the toy likely, and this makes a tight grasp impossible. The tight fit also makes the Acorn prone to tearing.

Pros
Inexpensive and compact. Tight.
Cons
Too tight, difficult to hold on to unless carefully kept dry. Doubtful durability.
Why?
Since I have hands with opposable thumbs, and a penis, I use them together. It has worked well for me and couple million years' worth of my ancestors. I'm also a tool-using primate. Masturbation toys enable a huge range of sensations for men. They can create a strong, enveloping pressure for a "quickie" or a subtle slide for a long, slow build-up. Somebody who hasn't tried masturbating with a sleeve is, quite reasonably, likely to try an inexpensive option first. With this in mind, I decided to look at the Hentai Toys Adzumi Acorn.
What It Is
The Hentai Toys Adzumi Acorn, which I shall henceforth refer to as the "Acorn," is a modestly priced masturbation sleeve manufactured by Topco Sales. It is about five inches long and two and a half inches wide. Here it is as packaged:
Material
As labelled, the Acorn is made of the Cyberskin material, which is a composition of PVC and Silicone. New, Cyberskin has a distinctly "plasticy" smell, but this scent fades after several washings, becoming barely noticeable during use. Cyberskin is soft and elastic, having greater firmness than jelly toys while being softer than most pure silicone toys. Cyberskin holds warmth well, and the relatively small size of the Acorn lets it warm quickly in a bit of warm water. Be careful and don't use hot water, you'll scream for the wrong reasons. The Acorn becomes pleasently slippery with water-based lubricants, but silicone and oils are not compatible, and will attack the material. Cleanup is easy, since Cyberskin can be cleaned with soap and water effectively and the open-ended design of the sleeve makes flushing quick and easy. Like all toys, let them air dry completely before storage. Lastly, Cyberskin's porosity, which helps give it a realistic feel, renders toys made of it unsuitable for sharing.
Appearance and Form
The outside of the sleeve has a textured grid around the circumference, ostensibly to improve grip, and a small painted vulva at the front end. The labia are unevenly "hand painted" a shade of magenta. The effect unfortunately evokes a sense of "irritated epidermis" more than "engorged with excitement." While initially a bit unsettling, I did realize that I would not be looking at this part of it during use. In fact, I made a point not to. The orifice of the sleeve is very small, about a quarter of an inch, and I suspected it would be prone to tearing. The canal widens to about three-eighths of an inch and is smooth for a short bit before the remainder of the canal, which is covered in the tiny ridges seen here:
As you can see, the ribs are very small, but are stiff enough to be felt during use. The photograph on the back of the box suggested a canal undulating in a serpentine fashion. This caused me a bit of concern initially, since my penis is not at all shaped like that. The actual toy has a much more slightly undulating path.

Experience
Test Drive
I tried the Acorn with several water-based lubricants, preferring thicker, viscous lubes like Probe. I discovered that large volumes of lubricant were necessary because the entrance and canal of the Acorn is quite small. Additionally, the short length of the acorn meant that lube was constantly escaping the rear hole of the toy as I pushed through it. These factors conspired to cause the major problem I encountered in use. The small size of the canal, combined with my, shall we say, "greater" width, meant a tight fit. In fact the Acorn is the tightest masturbation sleeve I've tried, but that tightness was intense without being crushing, thanks to the elasticity of Cyberskin. Nevertheless, this meant that stroking took a bit of force. At the same time, lube was escaping the end of the sleeve and getting on the outside. Now, I've always asserted that good fun is messy, but the outside of the toy eventually became slippery enough that I could not hold the outside tightly enough to force the Acorn over my penis. I could only use the Acorn effectively if the outside surface was kept dry. This was difficult to do while keeping friction at a minimum.
I mention viscous lubricants and friction specifically because of the finely ribbed internal texture of the canal. These are so closely spaced that they created a surprising high-frequency "buzz" at the widest point of my glans as it moved across them. Those of you with a glans know that it is supremely sensitive to friction, and these little ridges became uncomfortable with less-viscous lubricants.
The overall sense during use was a squeezing tightness which made the rippling of the internal ribs very strong. The waviness of the canal was barely noticeable as the elastic Cyberskin conformed to my penis. I found that using the Acorn was intensely pleasant, but I was only able to enjoy using it for relatively short sessions before the tight ribs became irritating. The Acorn was good for quickly coming to orgasm, but unsuited to longer drawn-out masturbation.
Issues
As I feared, the Acorn has torn with use:
This tearing occurred the first time I used the Acorn, and the tears have been slowly growing. I expect this to limit the life of the toy.
Judgement
The Adzumi Acorn lacks coherent, functional design. The tiny orifice and the narrow canal make for a tight fit, but a tight fit requires a firm grip. Some of the Fleshlight toys do this very well, albeit at greater cost. As a short, round, open-ended stroker, it will get lube on the outside. It will, therefore, become frustratingly slippery in all the wrong ways. The inexpensive sleeves without a hard shell can work very well if they have the right features. A narrow grip between larger sections can help create a positive stop to keep a slippery toy in place. Alternatively, additional length can keep lube from escaping the top of the sleeve and running on to your hands.
Thanks to its small size inside and out, the Acorn can be pleasurable and convenient and for a quick session, but there are probably better choices among similarly priced toys.
