The Edenfantasys vibrating ring is a great starter cock ring for beginners. It helps you understand how they're used and what they do without wasting a ton of cash on something you may not be sure you'll even like. If you happen to prefer more low key vibrations on your clitoris this may be the cock ring to try out with your partner or on your favorite dildo!

Pros
Easy to use, Stretchy, Comfortable
Cons
Lint magnet, weak vibrations, battery cannot be replaced, Less desirable material
The Edenfantasys vibrating cock ring is best used when placed around the base of a penis to slow the flow of blood so that the wearer can maintain an erection for a longer period of time. It also can be stretched to be worn around the penis and scrotum at the same time or just around the scrotum if that is your preference.
While wearing this cock ring the vibrating part of it, if worn on top, will stimulate a female partner's clitoris during intercourse. You can also choose to wear this with the vibrating part on the bottom to stimulate yourself during intercourse if your female partner doesn't want the vibrations on her clitoris. Cock rings are known to delay orgasm while worn so they may help with premature ejaculation, but they are also known to aid with erectile dysfunction when used in conjunction with a specifically made vacuum pump.
This particular cock ring would be best used by beginners because it is very stretchy and will fit almost everyone negating the need to measure before purchasing. Advanced users could get some wear out of this ring as well but they may not enjoy it as much if they're used to better designed cock rings.
The Edenfantasys vibrating ring is made of TPR Silicone which is a silicone based rubber compound and is hypo-allergenic and latex- and phthalates-free. It earns itself a 6 out of 10 rating on the Eden safety scale so it's not exactly an ideal material but it's tolerable.
The TPR is very stretchy, slightly sticky and smooth with some texture near the vibrating part. There is what appears to be a butterfly shape done in little bumps and nubs of the material that is supposed to help stimulate the female partner in use. TPR does tend to have a chemical smell to it but it's only really noticeable when held to your nose and it tends to be a major lint magnet.
In this particular cock ring there are also three little cutouts on the ring itself and their purpose is not exactly obvious but perhaps it has something to do with stretchability of the ring, who knows. Since this is sticky using some lube may be necessary to keep from pulling hairs while putting it on or taking it off.
The vibrating cock ring is about 2" from the top of the vibrating area to the bottom of the ring and about an 1 1/2" wide measured across the ring itself. The unstretched diameter is just over a 1/2" and the maximum stretched diameter is about 4". There is a butterfly made of bumps on the vibrating area and the vibrator itself is held inside a tube of TPR material. The pink plastic vibrator is about an 1" wide and 3/8" in diameter. On one end of the plastic tube there is a small plastic "arrow" button that turns the toy on/off.
This cock ring should fit just about anyone except those blessed with very large, diameter-wise, shafted penises. This ring is comfortable for the wearer and can fit over both the shaft and scrotum. The placement of the vibrating area is okay in that it should be able to stimulate a lot of ladies' clitorises but it will definitely not work out for some just based on placement vs. anatomy.
It is very easy to put this cock ring on and take it off but if you feel you need some extra slippage just grab some water based lubricant to use with it. Silicone lubricants shouldn't be used with this ring because it could degrade the material.
There is only one button to control the vibrations of this cock ring and it is located on the side of the pink plastic vibrating tube. It is shaped like an arrow and all you have to do is push it over to turn the toy on. It will take a little effort because the button is stiff. The vibrations will last for about 30 minutes of continuous use but it may vary ring to ring.
This basic cock ring only has one vibration function and it is a steady, buzzy medium type of vibration. It can be felt better when the plastic vibrator is removed from the TPR sleeve so while in use it may feel more like a steady, buzzy low because the TPR does dampen the vibrations somewhat.
Beyond not being very stimulating while in use this cock ring cannot have its batteries replaced, unless you pull it apart and try to stick it back together, but it's not really worth the effort. This vibrating ring uses one L754 button cell battery to power its vibrations and those may be harder to find than other batteries.
Wash this ring before and after use with warm water and antibacterial soap or toy cleaner or wipe it down with a toy and body wipe. This cock ring cannot be sterilized and should not be boiled or tossed in the dishwasher.
The packaging says you should dispose of this ring after use but you could probably wash it and store it in a baggie until the battery runs all the way out. After that it would probably be best to throw it away since it's a pain to change the battery and the material isn't totally non-porous.
The Edenfantasys vibrating ring came packaged in a purple-fronted foil packet similar to that of a condom. The back of the foil packet is see through and shows the ring very visibly so it's not discreet at all and should be hidden away from prying eyes. The front tells you exactly what it is and how to use it but there is a misprint where it says "Do not use on swallen or inflamed areas". I found this just a little comical but that's the English nerd in me. The packaging is also terrible for storage and should be thrown away after opening it.
The hubby and I don't have a lot of experience with cock rings but this was a fun one to try. It vibrated well and fit him comfortably so there isn't too much to complain about other than the material and lack of strong vibrations. I'm glad I got this free with an order because honestly I don't think I would have paid $4 for something as cheap as this cock ring.
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it6 months after original review
This ring didn't last very long at all, one use was right for us because we just couldn't bring ourselves to use it again. It wasn't powerful enough for me but at least it was comfortable for him when we did use it. It's since been thrown away.
